the belt grip on rod holder is really weak
I lost my fishing rod in the river when I kept it in the rod holder. The velcro stripe on the belt connector is as wide as whole 1cm an whole 4 cm long. It just doesn't have enough grip to hold even small rod weight. Imagine you walk over bushes or cross the river with moderate flow. Your will pop away you rod together with rod holder on even smallest pressure from environment or sudden kick by your own leg or arm.You must replace velcro stripe by metal clip buttons or just make reliable plastic belt connector.DO NOT BUY THIS BELT FOR ROD CARRYING PURPOSES OR YOU WILL LOST YOUR FISHING GEAR TOGETHER WITH THIS ROD HOLDER.

Bought this for the rod holder mainly. Took it off after first trip and replaced with a cheap plastic rod holder. Velcro on rod holder is weak. Reel can easily dip into water. Metal on clips already showing wear and rust.
