Best easy day hikes is a must have for any family with little kids. We purchased the Yellowstone addition years ago when our kid were small and decided that even though our children are bigger now, this will be a great guide to our trip to Moab Utah.The hikes have generous time allotments, it gives you a pretty good idea of how long it will take a family with children to complete the hikes.My advice is to read it carefully, if you're not much of a hiker, don't do the hikes that are listed as hard or advanced. Take water, and if you have kids, look up sand dune arch, it's not listed in the book but it is an easy flat walk to a shaded arch in a sand dune. Your kids will LOVE it.

The GPS coordinates of the trail heads are majorly incorrect in this guide for every single trail listed. Arches are Canyonlands both are North 38 degrees (i.e. 38 degrees north of the equator). However, GPS coordinates for the trails listed in this book vary from North 3 to North 44 degrees, not even close to the trails. For example, the North 3 degree listing is over 2000 miles off and is close to the equator. I strongly recommend to avoid buying this guide until this Fourth Edition gets corrected.

Very cheaply made. The text is gray instead of black, barely readable, newspapers are of better quality, and the maps are also low contrast. Not very usable.
