Purchased this Livre Audio (French language audio book) as a gift for a Harry Potter fan taking HS French 3. The recordings are high quality with a native French speaker, so it makes following the familiar story easy. Because the story is familiar, you can perfect your ear and accent. If the mp3's are loaded onto an ipod, you can adjust the speed of the speech to make it easier to understand.

I was so happy to learn I could buy these in French, I went ahead and bought the entire Harry Potter set so that I could practice learning prior to the start of the semester (I guess I'm a Hermione in that regard).It has already helped me pick up on the syntax and grammar. Paired with two French-learning apps and my French textbook, I think I have the next three semesters of French in the bag!

I bought it used, but there were just a few bent pages and it was otherwise in perfect condition. I'm in my fourth year of high school French, but I can understand it without a dictionary; I would recommend using a dictionary or side-by-side reading with the English version though, you can be sure you're not mistranslating words from the context. The translation is pretty direct, and it's fun to read. Looking forward to getting the other books in the series as soon as I finish this one.

This is the french language version of the book "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." My daughter wanted this version, and Amazon had it.

I would like to present a verbal bouquet to Dominique Collignon-Maurin for his exceptional rendering of this book! His different voices for each character are just amazing. He has put so much energy into this narration. It is like being at the theatre, only better, because one can listen over and over again. By the way, I am 64 years old and improving my French by reading and listening to Harry Potter in that beautiful language. What a joy! Harry Potter becomes better with each reading and listening!

If J K Rowling had drawn this book to its conclusion three-quarters of the way through, when the appalling Dolores Ombrage gets her come-uppance at the hands of the Weasley twins, it would deserve seven stars.The author is at her best when she allows her humour free reign, and a lot of HP no 5 is very funny indeed. Personally I found climax no 2, the long-drawn-out battle between Harry and Co and the Mangemorts, rather tedious stuff - almost as tedious as a description of a Quidditch match.In particular I wish we didn't read on every other page that Harry is trembling with fear, or that Hermione appears terrified. It tends to diminish rather than add to the excitement. Just stop eating all those sweets, Harry, and you'll feel a lot calmer.

Il s’agit du tome cinq de la saga Harry Potter écrit par JK Rowling.Harry Potter et l’ordre du Phénix.Ce tome fait 1031 pages.Il est connu pour être un des préférés de beaucoup de fans D’Harry Potter.On rentre de plein fouet dans la dure période de l’adolescence et Harry Ron et Hermione n’y couperont pas. Le ministère de la magie ne croit pas Harry : ce n’est pas possible que Lord Voldemort soit de nouveau parmi eux.Mais Harry va prouver à tout le mondeQu’il n’est pas un menteur !Ainsi la résistance va se mettre à marche et ils vont faire renaître l’Ordre !L’amitié va jouer une part essentielle dans ce livre.On est au prémice du combat long et difficile que ça devoir livrer Harry contre Celui dont on ne doit pas prononcer le nom et ses fidèles serviteurs...

Rien à dire de plus sur le livre de JK Rowling.C’est la version audio CD qui est vraiment décevante. Nous vions écouté et réécouteé en famille les 4 premiers volumes, racontés par un excellent B. Giraudeau, pendant les longs trajets en voiture. Il aura fallu attendre des années pour ce 5ème opus dont nous nous réjouissions. Mais il n’est pas à la hauteur des 4 autres. D. Collignon-Maurin a une voie agréable lorsqu’il se contente de lire le texte avec sa voix normale. Ou pour quelques unes des nombreuses voix (Harry p. ex). Mais pour le reste, c’est une cacaphonie de voix plus désagréables ou peu réalistes les unes que les autres. On en vient à attendre un passage où le conteur retrouve sa voix normale pour quelques minutes, histoire de se reposer les oreilles. C’est d’autant plus donmage que l’enregistrement en CD d’une telle histoire représente un gros travail.Pas encore acheté le 6ème volume, mais pas motivé pour le moment.

Vor ein paar Jahren erhielt ich zu Weihnachten die ersten drei Teile der Buchreihe. Da der Verlag mittlerweile eine Neuauflage auf dem Markt brachte, gibt's diese Buchreihe nur noch gebraucht zu kaufen. Durch Zufall fand ich jenes Buch und da ich auch auf die äußere Erscheinung wert legte, bestellte ich das Buch mit Zustand "sehr gut".Das Buch sieht aus wie neu! Keine Knicke, keine zerknitterten Seiten, richtig, richtig gut! Jederzeit wieder!
