Could be brighter but serves the purpose.
I like the quality of these bulbs and was pleased to find that I could get them in several colors as well as in spot or flood. They are not quite as bright as I would have liked however they will serve the purposeAlso wish the blubs were available in multicolor sets. If you are looking for a few red, a few blue and a few white, you would have to buy 3 separate packages each with 10 of each color.

4.5 stars - a bit delicate
Great little bulbs. I like that they come with separate sockets, which you can solder on or mount without worrying about damaging the bulb. The holes in the sockets readily take an 18 gauge wire. No troubles soldering. Caution: it is easy to damage the bulb when twisting it in - they bottom out at the end of the thread but with metal still showing. If you keep twisting, the plastic will turn but the base is in, so you'll rip it apart. It takes very little force to do this. Otherwise, great. (I bought 6V white.)

Absolute Garbage! PLEASE Do not waste your time buying these
I ordered these, ignoring the feedback, thinking I may have better luck. No chance, they are a complete waste of time and money. Somehow, I inadvertently placed two orders of these and tested 20 bulbs. ZERO functioned.Should be a simple thing, an LED with resistor to limit the current to ~20 mA, depending on the desired voltage the replacement light was called for. In my case 6V. It's highly possible the polarity is wrong for the LEDs, but additionally the LED isn't attached to the steel base sufficiently to prevent it from twisting apart from the base. This, of course, separates the resistor's connection to the positive contact in the bottom of the base. Poor design, potentially incorrect construction.

Meh.
Didn’t fit in a railroad lantern. Had to return. I’m sure they worked fine for other applications.

These work well with vintage audio, but do flicker when on an AC circuit.
Overall I am pleased with these and will buy again. Only issue is pretty much what a person should expect for replacement dial lamp use is that they will visibly flicker pretty bad when used on a 6.3 VAC transformer tap as found in most vintage audio applications. A simple AC to DC rectifier and smoothing cap will fix that if it is a problem.
