The Blue Tooth Car Adaptor has performed excellently. 1. It quickly connected via BlueTooth to my phone. 2. I easily selected a vacant A.M. radio frequency. 3. My car radio picked up the signal insantly. 4. The sound, to me, is as good as bluetooth connection DIRECT to the cars sound system. It is plenty LOUD, NO static, hiss or popping. Excellent. 5. My ciggarrette ligher receptacle is ON continuously. So, the 1st time I parked in my Drive Way, the Bluetooth stayed connected to phone, even though the car radio was off. Music and Calls still went to the parked car. Be sure and unplug the device from the car when you park, to stop bluetooth. 6. Again, a wonderfull device!

UPDATE 10/13: Nulaxy Customer Service reached out to me following my initial review to offer assistance and to ensure that I would be satisfied with their transmitter product line. I am very pleased to say that the replacement transmitter they sent is an outstanding replacement product—the model KM30. The transmitter paired seamlessly with my iPhone’s Bluetooth. It was also very easy to connect to my car’s fm radio on an available frequency. I was able to play back music from my iPhone library, connect to navigation thru Siri voice commands and make phone calls, hands free. I inserted a 32Gb USB drive and a 32Gb microSD card and played MP3’s. Clarity and sound quality were excellent—no static. When the MP3’s were loaded onto the thumb drive, I organized them in folders/albums—and it was very easy to search for specific songs and artists (not while driving though). I was able to keep my phone charged while playing music through the charging USB-A port—again with no interference or static. There are other features that I probably won’t use— but maybe with a little more time, I’ll experiment with those features too. Needless to say, I’m VERY impressed and satisfied with the efforts that Nulaxy customer service went through to ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend this (KM30) transmitter. For those without newer model cars (mine is a 2002 Accord) without Bluetooth, or USB/microSD ports, this device is a must have—especially for hands free phone use. And the cost is VERY reasonable! Well done.Nulaxy! And thank you for all of your additional efforts. INITIAL REVIEW: I was drawn to purchase the transmitter by its small/compact size. I didn’t need lots of bells and whistles—just a basic hands-free transmitter and USB music player with a sturdy profile. It connected quickly and easily to my 2002 Honda Accord OEM radio (FM) and my iPhone Bluetooth. I was able to charge my phone with the USB ports—but I didn’t time the charging process (or finish it). The controls are somewhat small and oversensitive requiring a few attempts to get desired settings. I Connected a 32Gb USB with MP3’s. Music played but with poor sound quality—my other model FM transmitter works much more clearly and with better sound quality. Songs played slower and broke up intermittently. The same songs on the same USB sound very good when played through my other (older) transmitter. During setup, I attempted to connect to several “available” FM frequencies. This NX16 transmitter cannot be connected to frequencies below 88Mhz. My other transmitter was set and worked well on 87.9Mhz and below too (which are typically “free” channels). I tried several frequencies and the sound quality never varied or improved. When connected to a cigarette lighter splitter, the sound quality and playback from the USB was even worse. After hearing the sound quality playback, I did not attempt to try a phone call or to use my phone as a music source or for navigation. The product is not very expensive and “works” but doesn’t suit my needs nor my sound quality expectations. So it may be suitable for some—just not me. The manufacturer makes several other models (similar in design to my older transmitter), so maybe the ones with the bells and whistles and “bulkier” profile work better.

This Nulaxy Bluetooth unit actually works really well. I was going to buy Bluetooth speakers to clip onto the visor of my 1997 Land Cruiser, and accidentally ran across these little FM xmitter products. There are many brands and models, but this one had a couple of nice features and seemed to come recommended, so I chose it. I tune it to an FM station that has the least static and no signal at all, and I pre-program that frequency to a pushbutton on my radio. The unit connects via Bluetooth almost instantly when the car is started (and a voice notifies me that it's connected), and then on a call, telephone conversation audio comes out clear and smooth. Turn it to its max volume and it may not shake the fenders off your car but it's not bad at all...and that's on a older truck, too. The only music audio I've tried so far is my "Favorites" playlist from a YouTube app. It plays them very nicely. And I can pause them with the multifunction button (and occasionally fast-forward past the ads in between each "track" by turning the multifunction button briefly clockwise...although it sometimes also skips to the entire next track). Fidelity is about as enjoyable as if a radio station was broadcasting the songs. Initially some features weren't working, until I realized that my dashboard cigar lighter is in a recessed dashboard area that's too narrow and the dashboard's plastic was holding the Bluetooth device's "light" button down. This made a number of features not work properly. So I mounted the Nulaxy device on a small extender "stalk" and it works flawlessly. Navigation audio goes silent during a phone call, but that's an iPhone thing…and it comes back automatically and quite instantly when the call terminates. Probably again per the iPhone's own behavior, navigation audio takes precedence over music audio loudness-wise, but the music audio continues playing softly in the background and then comes back to the foreground each time the navigation app stops talking. So I can listen to music while navigating, and it works fine. My strategy if I want to listen to the radio is to listen to whatever station I want...baseball game on AM or whatever...and if a phone call comes in, I just switch the radio quickly to FM and hit the radio's pre-programmed frequency button, and then I answer the call on the Nulaxy device. If I want to initiate a call, I turn the radio to the FM frequency first and then initiate the call on the phone (by typing or by using Siri commands), then converse via the Bluetooth device. The "dial last number called" quick-double-button-press works too...but only seems to work for the last call that I myself initiated, not the last call that called me and spoke with me. Not a big deal there, and that could be an Apple iPhone thing too, for all I know. I'm not sure if Siri commands work without touching the phone...but of course they still work on the phone itself. About the only small wrinkle, and it's just the nature of different signal source amplitudes and not the fault of this device, is that FM radio volume must sometimes be turned up a bit to compete with road noise...so in those cases I need to remember that I had turned the radio volume up before I switch back to the baseball game...or I may hear "Beanball!" or "Kill the umpire!" come out of the speakers really loud. (But since I'm yelling those things at the top of my lungs whenever I listen to a ball game anyway, it's hardly a big deal...) Overall this great little gizmo has it all over my original idea of putting speakers on the visor above my head -- so many limitations and complexities are simplified and improved with this approach compared to separate speakers (which would need to be manually turned on, and frequently recharged, and I'd still have to turn off or pause other audio to make them worthwhile at all). This device is a dirt cheap way of adding full-featured completely satisfying Bluetooth connectivity to my nearly-30-year-old Land Cruiser for a whopping $12.47 Black Friday sale price. Would I buy another? C'mon, man, who the heck needs two older Land Cruisers? : )

Its not perfect, but it's cheap and absolutely worth it I drive an SUV from 2012. It COULD have built in bluetooth, but getting that installed is expensive and well. You've seen the American economy right now. Your phone will connect to it the moment you turn your car on. The audio quality is decent, but will degrade if you decide to plug things into it, it does charge fast though. I also notice static during phone calls. Now. The bass booster. That thing is FUN The audio isn't as good but if you turn the bass on your car all the way up, press that button, and the entire neighborhoods going to be shaking, it seems quieter rather than staticky though. My brothers will take it, play the songs with the heaviest bass they can, and we drive like that. It's a great time! There is another button that changes the color, so if your car has a color scheme with lights it can fit! Mine's red so my adapter is set to red! Overall, it's more than worth 15$, and seems to regularly go on sale as well.

I bought this expecting a typical cheap FM transmitter that “works” but feels flimsy and sounds like a tin can. I was pleasantly surprised. What I liked - Smaller than it looks in the pictures (in a good way). It doesn’t stick out awkwardly or feel like a huge block in the console. - Build quality feels solid. The device doesn’t feel fragile or super cheap. - Great value compared to similar adapters. You get a lot for the price: charging, hands-free calls, lighting, bass boost, and simple controls. Charging and extras (better than expected) This model has multiple charging ports including a USB-C PD 36W and a USB-A QC3.0 port, plus two additional USB-A ports for other devices. It also has a deep bass boost button, hands-free calling, and an LED light ring with color options. The biggest “gotcha”: sound quality (and how to fix it) Out of the box, I thought the sound quality was kind of crappy, both on Bluetooth and over FM. But it turned out to be more about setup than the device itself. What fixed it for me: - Turn the adapter’s volume all the way up (or close to it). - Lower your car radio volume and let the adapter do the “work.” - Tune your car EQ: my sound improved dramatically after adjusting bass, treble, and even fading slightly toward the back speakers. - Bonus: If you still get static, make sure you’re using a truly empty FM station. The manual also recommends switching to a clearer unused channel if there’s interference. Once I did the above, the audio was totally acceptable for daily driving. Two important things buyers should know - It runs only off the cigarette lighter power socket (12V–24V). No battery, no charging it at home, and it only works when plugged in. - Bluetooth memory is limited: it stores two paired devices. If you want to connect a third phone/device, you’ll need to delete one of the saved connections first (not a dealbreaker, just something to know). Final verdict For the size and price, this is an easy recommendation. The features feel like they belong on a more expensive unit, and once you set up sound correctly, it performs the way you’d expect. I’d buy it again.

I got this item back in August of 2025 and I had something similar many years ago when I was driving a delivery van overnight and couldn't find anything on the radio so I wanted to stream things from my phone. This thing pretty much is flawless You plug it in the cigarette lighter and it auto picked a station which I guess it already has preset that knows that nothing is usually on that frequency and then I turn my car to the right auto frequency and play my music streaming off my phone couldn't be simpler. I use it with my unlimited data which I actually get a broil affordable price on so I stream the serious satellite radio using the app and I haven't really needed to listen to the car radio for many many months. I can get local stations even a.m. and FM and then of course with serious satellite radio app I get hundreds of other stations. It's the perfect alternative when you're tired of listening to the commercials all the time and you're tired of stations that go in and out especially a.m.. The things work flawless I leave it plugged in in the car all the time and never have a problem connects automatically when I turn on my Bluetooth. The sound quality I assume is great I don't know sounds just like the regular radio domain I don't have a high definition car stereo anyway It's just the factory model and an old Subaru I drive but everything sounds crystal clear to me I'm sure it could be better if there was some high end equipment in the car but anyway I mean literally for the price of two Starbucks coffees you get this product that can do so much and never have to worry about plugging cables in or any of that stuff again. Overall I highly recommend it I'm giving it five stars.

I bought this adapter because my other one exactly like this, same brand and all would not connect anymore. It kept flashing an error. While this one will work it has a lot of static that I couldn’t get rid of. I don’t know if it’s a bad batch or?

This FM transmitter does absolutely everything it's supposed to. Easy to connect and easy to enjoy. The call quality on it is fairly decent and I love the built in media controls. The display is nice as it displays battery voltage as well. The overall build of it is on the cheaper side but all else is good.

Utilizzato per trasformare una vecchia autoradio di una Fiat Punto in un dispositivo multimediale. Per configurarlo è stato sufficiente cercare una frequenza non utilizzata dalle radio: bisogna scorrere avanti o indietro fino a sentire solamente grattare le casse. Successivamente ho collegato il dispositivo all'accendisigari e ruotato la rotella raggiungendo la stessa stazione. Ci si accorge del suo funzionamento perché le casse smettono di grattare e non riproducono alcun suono. A questo punto non resta che cercare il Nulay con il bluetooth del telefono, associarlo ed il gioco è fatto. Viene rilevato come cuffie e riproduce tutte le app multimediali (spotify, youtube, ecc) oltre ad arrestarle ed avviare la suoneria in caso di chiamata in arrivo, idem in uscita. L'audio è ottimo così come il microfono con riduzione dei rumori. Unico difetto, ma non so se dipenda dall'accendisigari della macchina stessa, in caso di forti dossi questo si spegne e si riaccende, perdendo temporaneamente la connessione ed interrompendo l'audio. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero ottimo, dal momento che resuscita davvero vecchie autoradio senza dover smontare nulla. Consigliato.

En mi caso, llega a bloquear una emisora y mantener un sonido limpio sin interferencias, pero hemos buscado un dial libre entre dos cadenas de radio por si acaso. Se pueden quitar las luces que por la noche pueden ser algo molestas. Dispongo de un dispositivo de carga rápida a 30W y funciona.

Jamas habia tenido un transmisor de este tipo para el coche, un transmisor bluetooth, que tiene varias puertos usb, también sirve para cargar el móvil, y se empareja muy bien con el móvil, sena genial, tiene boton de volumen, es muy compacto y el diseño es muy agradable, lo recomiendo, muchisimas gracias, fuerte abrazo...

Suena bastante bien, tiene potencia de bajos y buena calidad de sonido, el micrófono para llamadas tambien funciona bastante bien
