Plantronics Blackwire 3220 USB-C Headset, On-Ear Mono Headset, Wired

I have stand-up calls every morning. I was using a Bose Quiet Confort for audio, and the built in microphone in my computer to communicate during my calls. Sometimes my office is noisy, so I had to find a solution. Some of my remote coworkers have the fancy version of this headset which is wireless, but I cannot afford that, so I went for the cheapest option. The sound it provides is crystal clear, and decent in noisy environments. It's even good enough to listen to music. If you're looking for something reliable that will just work well and has a decent quality for the price, I think this option is a no brainer. I went for the USB-C connection because I have a MacBook Pro Toch bar. Works fantastic.

With my wife on a "I don't care how low power the radios are I don't want them jammed in your ears" anti-bluetooth jihad I was faced with finding a way to replace the Plantronics bluetooth headset I was using, and with my phone lacking a headphone jack (so annoying) I was stuck looking for a USB-C headset for my phone.Long story short, this inexpensive headset has been durable and reliable and works great with my Pixel 2 XL. People have no complaints about how I sound, and the mute and volume controls on the cord are simple to use (and the mute has a visible indicator that it's engaged).I use it for conference calls all the time and I have no complaints.

I was unable to purchase the USB version but this coupled with an adapter works great! I wear glasses and like the feel of this headset. I purchased as a replacement and love it. Wish there were more in stock so I could purchase for other offices. My only complaint is the cable is too short in my opinion.

So far so good. I’ve only used this headset a couple of times and the sound has been great and microphone seems to work well which is something quite important for me as I always have video conferences/meetings from home. Sits comfortably on the head and is very light but looks like it’s good quality. Time will tell how long it lasts and exactly how well it actually performs.

Bought this because I wanted a USB-C headset for my cell phone in the office. This is not the one to choose. It cuts out goes mute, and the other party can't hear you. Using it while charging the phone cuts in and out makes a clicking and popping noise. Thought it would improve. Waste of money plus buying extra ear pads because the original ones are garbage.Updated: Garbage starting to cut out more frequently. DO NOT BUY!!Updated 4/13/2021: After spending an hour on the phone filing a claim, then printing labels which say drop off at carrier of your choice. Didn't say anywhere that I am responsible for shipping cost. Well after two weeks of limbo the package show up in my mailbox asking for postage. Call the company Eddie the CSR tells me I should've read the fine print! Then tells me no supervisors are available, they will call back in 24 hours. You know what, my time is worth more than a $50.00 cheap headset. Do yourself a favor, stay away from the company and their non-customer friendly policies. You will save yourselves a whole lot of headaches! I will never buy a Plantronics or Poly product again.

I'm running Windows on my imac using Bootcamp and used many headphones, wifi, bluetooth, 3.5 plug in and had one problem or another with every one of them when recording..or more accurately my computer had a problem with them. This USB-C one finally solved my problem. I can finally record Skype and other calls without problems. They care comfortable enough, not great, but certainly good enough for the price range.

The sound quality when working is great. I have waited some time to write a review because I did not want to jump to an early conclusion but they are not worth the money. I use them with a Google Pixel Pro 7 and one minute they work then the next minute they do not. It can spend an hour on a call with no problem then hang up, place another call and this time the receiving person can not hear me. Very frustrating.

First pair lasted a year .. which I didn't think was very good but the microphone when it works it's great and comfortable. Replaced them in September 2021 and my new pair just stopped working this morning Dec 30th after 3 months! I googled it and found that you can download and update it and sometimes that works and easy fix ... but I can't download on my work computer and it doesn't fit into my personal computer...lol. Not sure if it would have fixed it ... but why do we have to do that anyway ?!! Very frustrating.
