It took me a bit to figure it out even reading the instructions but the beats do not melt. Basically they help distribute the heat on. I placed a cuticule pusher, a gel remover tool, another basic cuticle remover and the cuticule pusher and it fit, I had to play with it for a bit but I was able to sterilize them. It went really hot so be careful before removing the tools. It did what it intended.

I like the size of this tool sterilizer. It isn’t too big to find space for and it handles a number of tools. I think it is good for home salon/nail or individual salon spaces. It comes with glass beads and smells when it is first used. I expect the odor will lessen as it is used. It reaches the desired temperatures fast. One thing to be aware of is that it gets hot and should be placed where it is safe. It is simple to operate and needs an electrical plugin where you place it. I does have a lid that closes when not in use, however it does not latch. I would like to see some type of closure. I wouldn’t want to see that many glass beads spilled.All and all, it works well and does a good job.
