Lived this temperature thermometer. Easy to use, just out it in the water. If too hot, it blinks red, if too cold it blinks blue. Digital temp read. So cute as well!

I’ve tried a few thermometers and this is by far the best one. The instructions to use are easy to understand.

The Otter Baby Bath Water Thermometer (ASIN: B0D1QFJX45) is effective at determining the bath water’s temperature and providing a visual alarm if the water’s temperature is out of range. The Otter is auto on when it hits the water. The semi-rigid Otter’s display shows the temperature in C or F as configured. The flashing blue or red LED lights illuminate only when an out-of-range condition exist. Printed instructions are included.The unit is easy to use; just toss it into the water. It really is a little better to toss it in as opposed to setting it gently onto the water. The bottom of the Otter is concave. If just placed onto the water it can trap a bubble of air underneath, limiting the water’s contact to the sensor. The air boundary can thus cause the display and warning light to provide a delayed or incorrect reading. Also note that it is possible for the Otter to float upside down. In this case, if a warning light is blinking, it may be missed because it is facing down into the water. It would be better if the Otter would self-adjust to flip facing upright at all times.

Very useful to help us make sure the bath is the right temperature for our newborn baby. We love otters and hope our baby eventually will too! It has a good auto-on and off function. It has warning lights that tell you when the temperature is too high. It's easy to use--just throw it in the water and it starts working. Battery life is good--it's lasted at least a couple months so far.

Something fun to play with after checking the tub temp

This may be a good thermometer, but it is seriously cute. It automatically turns itself on and off (the only switch is for F / C), and it shows the water temperature continuously, which makes it easy to adjust the temperature while you are filling the bath. It has a little red light that blinks when the water is too hot for most babies, and the 7-month-old confirmed that it was accurate. It floated very well, even when it went under the strong water flow from the faucet. It's hard to think of any way it could be improved.

I got this product to ensure proper and safe bath temperature. It does exactly that. It can also simply be used in a room, or any space, to monitor temperature. I only wish it could be turned off when you want, but it shuts off on its own after a while. Works great though, and exactly what I needed!

Not as fast to recalibrate as other thermometers that are a bit more sensitive to temperature changes, ie. We have a thermometer that once out of water shuts off and when placedback into water gives a value right away, versus this thermometer is active for 15 minutes out of water and 40 minutes in water before sleep mode, so when placed back in water it uses the last value and calibrates up or down from it which takes longer.Very nice LCD display, screen and numbers are easily visible in the daylight. There is an easy C/F button switch on the back, labelled as such. Once it reached a temperature above 38.5, the indicator flashes red three times and the words HOT are intermittently written in the top left corner. Would be nice if the red light or writing stayed on incase you miss the quick warning. Looks like a very cute little toy-like gadget, either seal or kitten but definitely not a duck, which makes a great addition to your bath time toy collection and is sure to be a hit with your little ones.Wprks best in water. The instructions say the thermometer can be used for indoor temperature readings as well as bath water, but is less accurate. There is no setting to change it just leave it in the room, however if used to measure bath water it will take a while before the temperature decreases to a room temperature reading and hard to know when it's accurate to read it.

I got this baby thermometer to check the temperature the water for my newborn. I really like this one. I’m always nervous about the water being too hot so this was really useful for new parents. The animal shape is well built. I really like how I’m able to switch from Fahrenheit or Celsius. Overall, really it is really nice and very useful.
