However, it's important to note that this is a specialty cable, so you need to ensure its compatible with the vehicle your working on.

This worked with our car from the off. Having never used BMW software it was a learning curve but worked flawlessly. The laptop saw the connection and the software was able to read the diagnostics. The cable is a good length so no awkward positions to use it.

Works great but mind you need the software to actually use.For those who know what they're doing, this is a good cable. Very good price too. Definitely recommended.

Got this for an R-Series Mini but they require the USB connector. Once on a compatible car the BMW software worked well

Great quality cable and adaptor that worked flawlessly with my BMW X6 (BimmerCode and ISTA+)I tried it on my iPhone (BimmerCode) and Laptop (ISTA+) and it worked perfectly and if used with ISTA+ you can see so much more diagnostics info compared to generic software.Note: The software isn't included but can be purchased online separately.

This is an OBD to Ethernet cable for coding features on modern cars. It has a standard OBD port connector at one end and Ethernet to go into a laptop at the other; the cable is about 3m long, and seems of decent enough quality.Bear in mind that the cable alone is no use - you need access to the relevant programming software, which is not included, but if you already have the software, this is a decent enough cable at a reasonable price.
