This is a lovely pendant in top quality stainless steel, plated in 18 carat gold. It depicts the cross in the background, with St Christopher holding his staff, and carrying the Christ child on his shoulder. The 3D effect, and the design are beautiful, and the rope type chain compliments the pendant perfectly. My one criticism, it is a little on the small side, but still a lovely item of personal jewelry.The necklace comes nicely boxed, and would make a superb gift, and the price of just over £30 (using the current 15% off voucher), makes it great value for money. There is a choice of designs available in gold, or silver, but I think the Cross St Christopher - Gold version I chose is the best looking, and most reasonably priced. Highly recommended, but I would advise removing it when swimming, bathing, or showering to preserve the beautiful finish. .

On this piece the chain is very longThe actual compass pendant is very dainty or very tiny which I would say would suit a lady more so than a man.The compass itself has all the signage of one, but the imprint points are very shallow, so looks quite cheap.On reading this description before sending off for it, I believed this was a real compass, and got it for my husband. My husband walks miles with the dog, and has got lost on several occasions.I was mortified when I received the pendant and it wasn’t real in the effect of dials that move. So I have completely missed the gist of what the pendant is for.So to illiterate this compass is NOT A REAL DAY TO DAY COMPASS.This compass is a rose wind charm symbol, supposedly a lucky charm to wear around the neck.The charm is 315L stainless steel and nickel freeThe actual compass is a little bit bigger than a one pence piece UKThe size of the chain is 22”* States to remove before bed* states to remove before exercising* States to clean with a soft dry cloth* States to not wear if using perfume and cosmetics* When not in use, place back in the jewellery box.The pendant to me at least isn’t suited for a man in my opinion, the reference points are very small and not that striking.At the top of my review I was honest enough to say I thought it was a real compass, having gone on the information from the seller. So even though I am disappointed that it isn’t, obviously my mistake, but I feel the information could be a little more precise.My review is based on the look of the necklace and charm itself, and not specifically on what I thought it was initially.For the current price of £19.99 it is way to expensive. A very well made medallion with clear and crisp details on the raised elements if the engraving. A very nice chain with solid clasp as well.

Good shine, hasn't faded or given me a reaction on my skin. I'd say it's definitely a good throw on when casually dressed

This is a beautiful piece. The weight of it is just right. It is not so light that it seems fragile and not so heavy that it seems uncomfortable. While the picture is of "medusa," I feel that the face can have many varied meanings. I actually love the style and the look of it regardless. It wears easy and is plenty long enough for me to pull on over my head, though maybe not long enough for everyone. Still looks as good as the day I got it, even after washing it and wearing it long periods of time.

Strength and courage are symbolic of a lion head on a pendant. That is exactly what you get with this one.To give you some sort of idea as to its size, it is a wee smaller than a US nickel (5 cent piece).The chain looks heavy and braided. It looks nice.The finish is attempting to look like gold. It is bright and shinny.Remember, this is Stainless Steel not Gold but looks like Gold.
