DAMO2"X2" Coarse Diamond Vacuum Brazed Grinding Drum Wheel Zero Tolerance with 5/8-11 Thread

The product I received looks like a knock off of the original. The guide bearing doesn’t have the black stripe with yellow “DAMO” logo on it. The bearing is also no where near as smooth as I would expect it to be. None the less it probably works great.

This is a high quality grinding wheel. I just started fabricating my own granite so being able to round out my corners is critical. This tool help smooth out my corners so that the final product was something I am proud of.

4000 rpm , super manageable. Followed up a contour blade on a sink cutout and was pleasantly surprised how easy it actually was.

I used this to smooth the edge of a larger circular hole I cut into 3” thick flagstone counter to sink my smoker into on an outdoor kitchen. It worked perfect. Makes a ton of dust since I used it dry but that was to be expected. I didn’t realize but there’s a large bearing at the top of the drum that’s used like an edging router bit to prevent it from sinking in further on the surface. This worked really well in my case since I needed to grind 3” and it’s a 2” deep drum. I ground down the first 2” and then the last 1” by running the bearing around the hole on the already ground surface.

Seems nicely made and of good value. I used it for truing up a sink cutout in a soapstone counter. The soft stone is not much of a challenge for this item, but it handled it admirably.
