This item had a few bad reviews but I still went with it because it was cheaper and idk how much I’ll really use it other then maybe a few weekends a year. Anyways it shipped fast and it went together beautifully. Not to much to complain about here. Looks great happy with what I spent my money on!!

Update after working with Customer Service:I was reached via email and offered a fast replacement or full refund. I was quite impressed with the level of customer service, so I am increasing the rating to 5 stars. For the money this is a great rack, and if you do have issues, you are in good hands with customer service.I bought this just before the 4th of July holiday hoping to have this to keep our wakeboard out of the boat. Taking it out of the box it appears well made and looks great, but the issues began during installation. One of the arms wasn’t properly drilled and tapped to allow for the bolts to fully tighten. I am a mechanic and am well versed in the use of nuts and bolts. I made every assurance while starting the bolts to make sure they were straight and not cross threaded, yet once they were roughly half way tightened they became incredibly difficult to screw in further. While the hardware is cheap, it’s not the hardware’s fault (better hardware won’t fix this). The holes in the rack itself are not properly threaded. Very frustrating. I’ll be returning this for a refund. Not worth the money unless you’re going to drill and tap the tower yourself (and have the tools to do so).

Great Product for the price. I got three of them. The clamp hole didn't line up with the back plate and had to return it. The other two I used an 8 mm tap to clean the paint out of the clamp threads and they work fine.

Unless I simply got lucky I believe they listened and fixed the issues people were complaining about. I was very careful to pre thread the bolts and align everything before adding the lock tight and tightening everything down but when it was done I was very pleased with the quality and price point.

We held on to this until we got our tower installed (self installed). The seller says it might because there was paint that got into the threads. They would give me $4 to go find the right screw. Four screws don't fit any of the threads in the base. I went to HW store thinking I can find a screw that fits. The next size down is too small. I can't return because I missed the return window. Don't buy or check it out immediately.

Had two issues: Had to chase threads on one hole with tap because powder coating had gotten partially into it had to take up slack inn tnt bungee cord deal to hold the boards tighter in the rack. Not a big deal when spending a fraction of the price compared to other racks on the market. A liitle ingenuity saves a ton of $$. Easy assembly and install. Used all summer no issues. Powder coating holding up well. Will definitely buy another rack for other side of tower next summer.

The 4 mounting bolts did not line up to the base plate. Had to grind all 4 slots a significant amount to make them fit. The racks have slight gaps where they mount to the base plate. It’s black spray paint, not powder coat. Requested return and did not get a response from seller so I modified it to fit. It is way cheaper than most racks but needs modifications to make it work. I would not purchase this unless you have a rotary tool to remove aluminum. Also, all threaded holes needed chased for bolts to fit and I used blue loctite on bolts.
