You can use it with batteries
I order this fast and I was expecting it to be a little bigger and not to look a little cheap, but is ok. At least it does all that says it does.I definitely like the extra mirrors on each side with the different magnifications. Definitely me since is hard to put makeup without my glasses. Definitelya plus and as a bonus you can close the side mirrors. It has a little tray as the stand. You can use this mirror with batteries or with a usb. It takes 4 AAA. This mirror lights are not dimmable, they are just a very bright white color. Don't look straight at them it could blind you. This mirror has it's good quality and it's bad qualities. But overall since it does what it claims it does and it is not a bad price then I say is pretty good.

Multimirror Makeup Experience
If you are looking for that surround, magnified, make up light experience, this is for you. This is a fun make up vanity mirror that unfolds and you are surrounded by 4 mirrors (5 including the mini round mirror), catching every angle of your face with different magnified powers. The smaller, circular mirror can be attached or carried separate with suction cups on the back to put on one of the 4 mirrors.I thought this was a chargeable mirror, meaning you can charge the mirror, unplug, and go using the mirror lights, however, that is not the case, if you want to use the light this mirror has to be plugged in at all times or have batteries installed in the back to keep it powered on. I absolutely hate the location of where the cord charger is, especially if you are trying to angle your mirror upward, your cord will snag, I hate the use of batteries and depending on your plug in location, you are limited to where you can plug in, so for travel purposes, this is not my favorite vanity mirror set.I really love the different magnified power mirrors, each helping with the different makeup task at hand. When plugged in or battery powered, if you long press the light button on the mirror you have several different light options from dim to super bright. As long as you hold it down you can choose your light preference. However, this is more bulking than I would like (mostly looking to use it for travel), the stand is nice but when you are looking to put it up out of the way it can become a nuisance, and it is just another cord to be sure to have on hand or stored with for when you need it. Over all not my favorite vanity mirror, it has its pros and cons, but it had more cons than pros for me.

I thought the older model was perfect, but this one is even better!
This mirror is so handy that I jumped at the opportunity to get a second one in exchange for a Vine review, so my mom and I wouldn’t have to share anymore. (She didn’t want a different one and I didn’t want a different one, so now we each have one of our own – lol!) I was pleasantly surprised by some of the updated features, without losing any of the aspects I liked in the original mirror. As someone who’s extremely nearsighted and wears contacts, doing makeup can be a real challenge. But, the built-in 2X & 3X magnification mirrors are perfect for most of my eye makeup needs, and the bonus 10X magnification mirror is great for plucking my brows. I was worried the suction cups wouldn’t hold tight, but I’ve found removing and reattaching it as needed hasn’t been a problem. I keep mine stuck to the back of the mirror so it’s always within reach. We don’t have overhead lighting in any of our rooms, so lights on a cosmetic mirror is a MUST! This mirror seems brighter than my old one, and surprisingly the brightness doesn’t seem to suffer when on batteries like the older model. While I prefer using it plugged in, it’s nice to know I have a backup option for travel (why can’t motels put an outlet near a mirror?), or if we have a power outage. The brightness is a lifesaver in rooms without overhead lighting, but do note, it might not be enough in a completely dark room. This mirror runs on 4 AAA batteries or the included USB-C cable, a welcome upgrade from the old micro-USB model. The cord is about 4.5 feet long, but remember, you’ll need your own USB charging brick as it’s not included. For me, this mirror met and exceeded all my expectations, so it’s a 5/5. But, there are some considerations you should be aware of in case your needs are different:Both the white plastic and the mirrors pick up smudges easily. I’m super messy in my makeup application (apparently), but it wipes right off when I’m done using it.While it’s super easy to insert the mirror into the base, separating the two takes a bit more effort. This won’t be an issue for daily storage, but you’ll need to do it if you ever want to pack it back into its original box. Finally, the mirror falls short of the full 180-degree tilt advertised. It’s just a little too top heavy to go all the way over, especially if using the batteries. So, be aware that your 2X/3X mirrors are not going to be reversible (set on the left-hand side). I can’t imagine this being an issue, so it didn’t detract from my overall review.Hope that helps you make your decision, and have fun getting pretty!PICTURES: I've included a side by side comparison of the mirror powered by plug vs. batteries. Please, be aware that I used old batteries robbed from remotes, so the mirror may be brighter with new ones. Also, the film is still on the mirror in the photos I have included.

Keep your money!
It’s bright, folds up but it doesn’t tilt at all.

LOVE LOVE THIS
MUST HAVE!The mirror is very bright but can go very dim with the setting. I can see every pore on my face with the x5 magnification mirror.

medium sized
This is good sized makeup mirror. It's not as big and heavy as others I have tried to it's easy to move around. I'm having issues with keep it charged. While it's plugged in it works but it doesn't seem to hold a charge well. The light is super bright and the mirrors are clear. I like how there are different magnifications so you can have the view you want.

For dorm
Got this for my daughter when she went off to college. Great size to fit on top of her small nightstand or desk. Lights are perfect for applying makeup.
