I tend to wear this as a layering piece, when it's a bit too cold for a T-shirt; it's cotton, so quite warm when needed, but not too thick. It's made quite well; although it says it's British apparel, I can't find a label to say so, and the packaging has a label with spelling mistakes, so most likely an import.Design-wise, it's not a bad shirt, the stitching and hems look ok, the buttons stay on, with a spare; the one annoying issue was the button hole on the arm sleeve tab that I use to pin up the sleeves of the shirt - the holes were cut too small, so I had to take the shirt off and force the button through.It's not bad quality for the price, perhaps what you'd expect for an unbranded item.

The only size available to me when ordering this was Large, but the product description stated that if I wanted a loose fit, choosing a size above my usual would still be okay.The item is certainly a well-made, well-presented garment; the material is soft but quite substantial cotton and the style is a classic, plaid lumberjack look.The larger size does indeed look okay when worn, but it does feel roomy and is probably best worn over a T-shirt or similar undergarment – had a Medium size been available, this would have been perfect for me, but as it is, it`s acceptable.It`s machine washable and tumble-try, so no fuss on laundry day.Pricey, but the quality is very good; there`s a small sample patch provided showing all the coloured plaids in the range – quite handy if one wishes to order a different shirt.
