I very much liked this product & I am a cosmetologist so at my station (most of the time, wherever u work they like u to use only the products they sell at that particular hair salon, that way when they like how their hair turned out they'll most likely enquire about what u used on their hair. And if you work for a salon you must use the products that they sell at that particular salon. And I never liked that because I felt limited and I don't work that way. I like to share any secrets I have with my clients and that means using on them what I have used myself and like the results. So I can speak about it honestly and naturally and that's why my clients keep coming back because they know I'm not going to lie to them or try to sell them something just for commission & like I said it limits u as a hairstylist to only be able to use products that the salon uses where you work and if you don't particularly like those brands or how it makes your hair feel or if it only works on certain types of hair and your client is not that type of hair I don't feel right trying to sell a product that is for "everyone" when there isn't a product out there that is going to be the same for everyone.But since I rent my chair, I'm not REQUIRED to endorse their products & their products alone. I'm the hair stylist and if I worked for the salon itself then yes I would have to abide by those rules and earning the commission off of it is a good amount of extra money but since I pay the salon to rent my station and let's say I am either not familiar with their product brands or I don't know much about them then I don't feel right using it on my client s especially if I don't know what it's going to do or how well it works.So my point is because my clients like how I do things or they wouldn't keep coming back and I have always done things my way even whenever I was in cosmetology school and it might be a little different than the textbook way to do it but for me it's always turned out immaculate and everybody loves it and no matter what I'm doing on any client they leave there so happy and I constantly get remarks about how they've had the same service done by other salons and other hair stylist but it's never turned out as good as it has with me. And I think that's because I only use products on my clients that I have used on myself or my family members immediate and extended if it calls for a different type of hair because everybody's hair is different mine isn't curly but I still have to try out on my niece because her hair is curly so a product that is going to work well with curly hair then I go to her and so on. So I only use products on my clients that I like and have used and approved and it goes above and beyond anything that I've ever used before I'm constantly trying out where new and different products all the time and I am so shocked and happy even whenever I'm just using them on myself it makes a huge difference and I'm shocked that one product or a specific hair mask or a scout treatment will make such a huge difference to how your hair turns out and how it allows you to style it and I want to share that with people. And if we happen to have that product in the salon then yes I am fluent about how it works and how to use it so I can promote the product well because I know a lot about it and to try to talk up a product that I haven't used much or that I haven't used on myself I don't feel right doing so but I am okay to recommend a similar product that I've used before even if it's not used in the salon I'm working in.I don't like to try to get my clients which include my family members to purchase a product that I have never used bcuz I feel that's wrong.I would definitely 100% recommend this product you don't want to use too much of it because then it would make your hair oily but it's nice when you have done a lot of chemical treatments to your hair or you color it a lot or have had a lot of highlights done throughout your life or lightens your hair to try to get a color that you want to show up better because if you want a specific color it's always easier to achieve what you want the lighter that you can get your hair so if you have dark hair it would be very damaging to your hair to get a light color so you'd have to do a lot of hair masks and her treatments and repairs but it can be done as long as you're committed to it.You don't want to use this product on your roots squirt two to three drops in your palms depending on how long your hair is rub it between your fingers and go from mid shaft to your ends and go down in one section then move to the next and go down and the next and go down you don't want to stay in one section and put more because again it will give a oily look to it.

Seems to work when you heat your hair, such as blow drying it or curling it. On, but makes your hair feel dirty if you don’t wash it out quicklyz

This product has clear instructions. Works amazing! I’m impressed how hassle free it is to make my hair look so beautiful! It is worth every penny.

So they buried the lead that this needs to be heat activated-I imagine like many interested in an anti-frizz, anti-humidity hair product, I too have curly hair which I air dry and don't use heat, so I'm not going to get the most out of a product that isn't going to activate without it. So I really didn't see much benefit from this, and unfortunately it's not very prominent in the description. So I'm going to share with my frequent travel buddy who does blow dry her hair and hopefully she will get more use out of it. That said, it's a decent feeling product with no other drawbacks.

This product is similar to Color Wow Dream Coat, and works very much the same way. This Macpaul Magic Coat product has a much stronger scent and Dream Coat has a finer mist, but otherwise I feel like these could be the same product. Make sure to not overspray, my hair tends to feel weird and clumpy if I accidentally use too much. You HAVE to use heat with this product, and preferably with a hairdryer & blow dry brush or similar tools.Overall I think this is a great dupe, and for nearly half the price, I'll be back for more~
