Goat's Rue 2oz

I'm on my second breastfeeding journey and this company along with another has helped me so much. I have such a small capacity for my milk and such hungry babies, i didn't figure this out until my second one. I have used their products since my first, and my favorite is the goats rue. Yes it's quite expensive but very much worth it and they actually work. The goats rue is my favorite. I have tried the caps and tincture with results from both, even noticeable breast increase. Its a concentrated tincture so I never expected it to taste like candy! Its strong, bitter, and POTENT! I just take it back with no water even though it says you can drink 1oz with it if you have to, no liquid 15 mins before or after. I honestly think this is the best product for women with a smaller capacity. I double dosed for a week so it only lasted me about a week. I would say for a woman under 175lb it might last about 3 weeks. Im 260lb, double dosed and it lasted me a week so. It probably would have lasted me 2. Most reliable company with the most promising results, love you guys!!

I ordered these because I was tired of taking multiple pills a day (fenugreek, goats rue, Brewers yeast, and all my other daily supplements to support my IGT in breastfeeding). It definitely doesn't taste like a walk in the park but it does the job and I enjoy being able to quickly get it over with. Pro tip- use the dropper to shoot it down the back of your throat to avoid the taste

I feel like I need to write a review just to say that the taste is really not that bad, don't let all of these reviewers scare you. I was honestly scared to try the product, even though it was highly recommended to me from a professional, but I thought it would taste so badly that I almost didn't try it - even after I bought it! But really, it is not that bad!! If you follow the product's directions and dilute it in an ounce of water and just swallow in one gulp it is really not that bad at all. It tastes like green tea - maybe like the bottom of a cup of green tea. Not bad. I was trying too many breastfeeding supplements at the same time to determine which worked or not, but this review is just to debunk the taste, which is why it has so few stars (really, do we want them to add sugar to make it taste better? I would rather have the raw product).

This product has helped me sooo much! I use it with the Motherlove more milk special blend. I've had supply issues with my third child, my first two I had an over-supply. I did have complications after birth and had to have two emergency surgeries and my baby was in the NICU for 3 weeks which is what caused my low Supply this time. I've tried everything fenugreek, blessed thistle, brewer's yeast, oatmeal, drinking water, pumpin Pals, Ameda nipple stimulators, laVie massager, every product and supplements imaginable. Motherlove is the supplements that have worked the best for me. I just wish they were more affordable. I've tried another brand with almost the same exact ingredients which worked all right& it's half the price but I still feel like the mother love works better. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I have to take double the amount for it to be effective for me. I go through about a bottle a week of each ( I have to use the go goat's Rue and the mother-love Special Blend to get results) and that adds up really quick. I saw an increase of about 1.5oz. To 2oz extra per each pumping session. It adds up to be quite a lot in a day. Its so worth it but being a single mommy of 3 boys its so hard to afford $50-$60 a week ($200 to $240 a month) extra. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's definitely worth it when I can afford it but unfortunately when I dont take it I go right back down in production. I have to take it daily to keep up the increase I initially got. I love their products & the process of production. Overall I recommend Motherlove products to all my BF mommies and lactation consultants.

The suggested use says to use 1 dropper (1ml) 4 times a day and if you are over 175 lbs, it is 2mL 3 times a day. The dropper will not suction up beyond roughly .75ml so you have to try to choke this down not only twice, but 4 times to get the suggested volume times 3 times (I am over 175).The taste is absolutely terrible. It also says to not drink more than an ounce or 2 of water after you take it. So it isn't like you can wash it down. It maybe wouldn't be so bad if I could take it all at once. I did read a previous review to just shoot it to the back of your throat, but it almost has a burning feeling. After spending what I did on it, I am nervous to try anything else. So bummed.

Tastes absolutely awful, but increased my milk supply. I found mixing 2mL of this tincture with ~1oz of flavored iced tea in a shot glass then tossing it back was the best way to get it down, but YMMV.

I was desperate to increase my milk supply and bought this but it tastes so bad I cannot take it. It leaves the taste of dirt and acid in my mouth and I am nauseous for most of the day. No amount of desperation can make me take this again. I tried for 2 days and gave up.

I have IGT and was hoping this would help but my case is so bad it did nothing for me. this may help others just not me. the taste is very strong but I found that if you mix it with an oz of extremely cold water and shoot it back fast you don't even taste it. But, it does taste like you are taking a shot of alcohol because of how its made so if you can't handle your alcohol you should go with the pill form.

Tastes horrible, but definitely does what it should. It's helping my milk supply, and my breast is growing.For the taste- 1 oz. of water is enough to get rid of the bitter taste. Quite expensive, ($44 a month), but I will keep it at until I wean. (There are leople who make their own for less, but for me- that won't work, so I use Motherlove.)

I have been using this product for 2 months now and my milk supply has increased noticeably. A few weeks ago I ran out of it and while I was waiting for the delivery of the refill, my milk supply went down making my baby very fussy. As soon as I started taking it again, my supply increased and my baby was much happier. I cannot believe how much effect this product has on my milk supply! It is a must-have for me. Taste is not great, but I take it with a small amount of water and it is enough to make it drinkable.

The Herbal flavor isn’t horrible but the alcohol is so strong (it burns), once I mixed the drops with half an Oz if water is no Problem and the savings over the capsules is worth it.

This is my go to while breastfeeding to keep producing milk. It is disgusting when if taken straight as recommended I took half of my first bottle straight then put it in mother milk tea or twinings renew tea lemon & ginger w/ fennel & burdock root. It taste good in the tea sweetened with agave.

Didn't work for me, no single increase in breast milk supply, almost finished a bottle. Taste is not as bad though
