I got several boxes of these to help earthquake proof our home. They are pretty simple items (some metal brackets that go on the wall and your item, steel cables, zip ties, and drywall anchors). I primarily bought the kits to use the metal brackets and steel cables. I replaced the dry wall anchors included with some toggle bolts as some of the items we have are quite heavy and I wasn't sure if standard plastic anchors were sufficient.To install, drill holes and insert drywall anchors (or thread on the screw and toggle bolt). Install bracket and tighten to wall. Add corresponding bracket to your device if needed (say a bookshelf for example, you can screw the bracket to the top or back). Add the steel cable and zip tie to secure to wall.I try to make the cable length as short as possible to keep the item from tipping very far if it does move. I have a couple kids that tend to pull and tug on stuff, so the less movement an object has, like a lamp, the better. I put a couple pictures of our toy claw machine secured to the wall. I use the screw holes on the claw machine to secure brackets to it, and used a different cable loop to secure to the wall. This is just one example of the dozens we put around the house.Overall, they work great and none have failed when my kids yank on the lamp or bookcases, so I'd say they are more than adequate. I'd highly recommend.

I installed these on almost every piece of furniture at our home which has a tip hazard. Got them on the wall just before our baby started pulling up on things. I sleep better at night knowing we have a small safety margin with these heavy items. Would I bet someone's life on these? No, should they give us a few seconds to re direct the Child's attention to something else or worst case hold a tipped furniture piece for the moments necessary to get it back against the wall, I hope so. Decided to purchase these because they are metal and metal is better than the plastic ones you see. Rather easy to install with included hardware. I would buy again.

This furniture anti tip hardware has worked well for me. This kit comes with a bunch of them to really anchor down a dresser.

We reviewed several furniture straps offered and this one appeared to be very sturdy. When we received the item it was as described, the cables and wall connector are made of very sturdy material, the ties were good quality and all the screws etc were packaged in a separate bag. Recommend, would purchase again, if needed.

These are so easy to install, my husband did all five pieces of big furniture in our house in under an hour. They don’t budge now. I have so much more confidence in the safety of our home knowing I can’t even knock over our dresser. So worth the price and peace of mind.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Came w/ pretty much everything you need: zipties, anchors, metal ties, and screws for dry wall. I can't vouch for the screws as I used my own black for wood. Everything I wanted. Recommend this.

I like the fact that the length of the strap (zip tie) makes it adjustable! I secured two tall bookcases to the wall because the carpeted floor is not very level. Be sure to completely empty your piece of furniture before installing!Would be easy to remove by cutting the strap.
