The rubber attachment for the phone holds it securely and can quickly and easily be removed from the arm band while you are wearing it. My issue is that the arm band is too short. At its max adjustment, it is really tight when worn over my bicep (not that I have unusually large arms, maybe the model in the product picture has tiny arms). I wish it was a bit longer or stretched a bit more so that there was more overlap between the hook and loop. As it is, I am afraid that at some point the hook and loop under the strain/pressure will eventually give way at an inopportune time. Last, it comes with a handlebar mount and the armband mount can be removed and added to a belt, but I do not intend to use either. Seems like this armband is trying to do too much.
