Well I'm satisfied

This ultrasonic cleaner gets my wife’s jewelry looking nice and sparkly. It’s always amazing how much brighter her diamond ring looks after cleaning. You never realize how dirty it is until after it’s cleaned and totally changes color. The ultrasonic cleaner works well with just water and dish soap, but this speciality cleaner seems to get jewelry just a little bit cleaner. If you’re regularly cleaning jewelry, it’s definitely worth trying out.

Did not work as anticipated

Many years ago, I worked at a jewelry store for a couple of years, and one of the little perks we had for our customers was free ring cleaning - made them happy and gave them a reason to keep looking at other pieces. I have no idea what we used in our ultrasonic cleaner - probably just Windex - but I got a review sample of a cleaner last year, and I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade my cleaning solution. I'm looking forward to trying this on some of my wife's jewelry, and I expect at a concentration of 40:1, it ought to make them really sparkle.

I've had my ultrasonic cleaner for about a year and have used it a few times with just water. I never was impressed or noticed any difference in my jewelry, so I shoved it under the sink and forgot about it. My jeweler cleans my pieces free of charge, and while I wait, but it's not always an option to run by there on my way to an event or function. I was given the oppurtunity to try out this cleaning solution and decided what could it hurt. Pulled my machine back out, followed the dilution instructions and used distilled water (had used tap before), and plopped my pretties in for a bath. They came out nice and sparkly! Maybe not as sparkly as when they get the steam clean at my jeweler, but definitely better results than I had with using water alone (which was what the owners manual for my machine recommended). It may just be my imagination, but the sparkle seems seems to dull quicker than it does from my jeweler. This will definitely work in great in a pinch though. I can give my stones a quick shine up for dinners and date nights and now I don't have to run across town to get them cleaned. I'm definitely pleased with the performance so far. Still need to try it on some of my older tarnished pieces that I don't wear as often to see if it can do anything for them.

I wasn't using specialized cleaning solution in my ultrasonic cleaner as I though it worked just fine as-is, but this takes it to a whole other level. Not only does the jewelry come out cleaner in the end, I find I rarely have to run more than one cycle on my cleaner to get them spotless. It's very concentrated so don't let the price scare you off. If you frequently use your ultrasonic cleaner, than this will more than pay for itself in time saved!
