Gutter Getter 00101 Cleaning Scoop, Original Version

As someone else on Amazon.com said, this is surprisingly good. I bought it on the off-chance having researched gutter cleaning tools on-line and I had some over-flowing gutters that needed attention. At first glance it seems flimsy, being a flexible plastic "scoop" but flexibility is the whole point. By squeezing and twisting (as described on the guide that is stuck on the side) you can fit it into tight spaces between the roof tile edges and the gutter (e.g. where in the past I was not able to fit a trowel). It then opens up again to fit the profile of the gutters (square gutters in my case).You then do one or more of the following:1) push the scoop along the gutter to scoop up the dirt/debris.2) push the dirt using your hand into the scoop.3) use a PROGUTTER Square line Gutter Cleaning Scraper (also on Amazon) to pull the dirt/debris towards the scoop from quite a distance.You can twist the scoop a little within the gutter to make sure you get to either edge of the gutter if it does not fill the whole gutter profile.Remove the scoop and contents in much the same way as you put the scoop into the gutter. You may need to cover or hold your hand over the open end to make sure the contents stay in the scoop. Empty the scoop into a bucket and then do it all over again on the next bit.I used it for the first time today and it was brilliant (if dirty) and way, way easier than using hands and/or a hard trowel. An excellent investment of £10 that is less than the call-out charge for a "professional" gutter cleaner. I thoroughly recommend it and will use it every time in the future.

Was so excited to get this as thought it was a great invention but unfortunately it doesn't fit my gutter so it's been useless to me
