Recommended regency romance
Quite a good read, I reduced 1 star due to the book of love. Each H and h reads book of love together so by now it has become byheart what the book contains, it's repetitive. Besides this series also has Farthingale, so no matter what books , author writes,it ultimately has Farthingale family. It's not complete clean readComing to the story, Belle has weak lungs. From childhood , she believes she is unlovable due to her sickness. She reaches out to Finn whom we met in the previous book for help as she believes her father is in some serious trouble, she wants pretend courtship. Finn falls in love with her but she believes he would desert her as she has her own panic attacks. I like the way Finn was supportive, patient and encouraging with her.He helps in restoring her self confidence He was the perfect hero. All the 4 stars are for him. Overall recommended read

Ten Beautiful Stars!
Another beautiful story in THE BOOK OF LOVE series!THE SCENT OF LOVE is captivating, and enthralling, you will not want to put this book down! Finn and Belle are such a wonderful couple! I love how Finn just can't help falling for the sweet, lovely, and kind-hearted Belle! Meara Platt has a special gift for creating characters that are memorable, and likeable!Don't miss the latest addition to THE SCENT OF LOVE series...it is a warm and wonderful read that you don't want to miss!

A scrumptious dose of Farthingale/Brayden magic as they revel in The Book of Love!!
There is just something utterly delicious about all the Brayden boys that have you palpably swooning at the first encounter. As soon as they find their soulmate, lightening strikes and hearts melt - and not just that of the heroine!! Then when Platt weaves in a Farthingale, magical things are sure to happen. Fun and games morph into a spot of trouble and a mystery unravels before your eyes that inescapably draws you in and holds you riveted. So it was no wonder that upon their initial, heart-stoppingly unorthodox introduction, Finn and Belle instanteously ensnared by affection and won a small piece of my heart.Finn with his no-nonsense, straight talking and headspinning-deep devotion for Belle packs quite the punch as he determinedly charms and seduces Belle into not just loving him but most importantly herself. Overlooked Belle is so sure she is unmarriageable, a thought instilled into her by her well-meaning if clueless parents, that Finn has one tough shell to crack. A challenge that maybe proving harder by the minute but Finn's endearingly bumbling attempts are all the sweeter and more rewarding for his trying!!!A sweet and charming romance where the first half fills you with swoon-worthy anticipation and tummy fluttering romance, while the second swings you straight into anxious uncertainty, imminent danger and ominous intrigue!!This series just keeps getting better and better - a purely addictive, fun and heart warming tale!!!

Finn & Belle... sigh
I thoroughly enjoyed this story as I usually do with anything from Meara Platt. Her road to HEA is not a smooth one but a well earned one & a page turner. The best kind.

Scent Sense
This book was a very nice distraction and enjoyable read. Belle and Finn getting together was a foregone conclusion from Chapter One. The journey to their happily ever after was interesting with its twists and turns.

Enjoyed it
I enjoyed this.Honestly, I don't know what it is about these books. The writing in them is a little average (and as others mentioned in previous books, not always very accurate). The characters are a little stiff and shallow at times. And yet there's something quite charming about the stories and it keeps me reading.I will say that the stories are getting less clean as we go on (so be warned if that bothers you!). I've read much more detailed books, but we've definitely strayed further from clean romance than the earlier books in this series. That's not a criticism, merely a heads-up as not everyone likes that.
