'Euro3Plast 1672.01 Plant Pot"Vaso Linteo, Durchmesser 60 cm Terracotta

I have bought several of these planters, and I generally like them a lot. The colour and traditional round shape imitate terracotta pots well without sharing their propensity to crack during sub-zero winters and if dropped. I also love how lightweight they are. What I don't like is the hollow lip, which is too easy a refuge for snails if you have your pots near grass, as I do. On a high terrace, the problem would not exist, but for me it's not ideal.Calling them unbreakable is accurate in the sense that they don't chip and shatter on impact like terracotta, however, after several years of exposure to the elements, the polypropylene does degrade and can break just like any brittle plastic. However, for the price and useful life, they are very good.
