Original showed up in damaged packaging and didn't work. Ordered a replacement. Replacement works great. I tinkered with the original waiting for the replacement, and got it working too, funny enough. My girlfriend is delighted with these goofy things, and it has a mode where it talks back to you and she was amused with that for half an hour straight last night.I guess I'll take a sixteen buck hit and keep them both. It's great to see her happy.

I got this for my nieces and did they have a great time or what! It was mimicking them and singing songs to them. It even copied some of what I said too! It preformed a bit too well if you ask me.... I'm sure it will give my brother a headache soon enough. Awesome stuff this cactus.

So Creepy. Not sure if it was broken or not, but the voice repeats what you say back to it. Very scary movie like. In addition, it sounds like a muffled robot voice. The movement isn’t as cute as you would think in the picture either.

I ordered this in the hopes that unlike the many videos I've seen online, that this silly novelty singing, mimicking, dancing cacti would NOT scare my child. However, it did scare him lol.The positives are that the song selection is VAST! I do not know how many, but I kept trying to get it to play the first song and couldn't get through the full rotation of songs before my son started crying hysterically from fear 😂.It also records and plays back sounds and audio, which is pretty hilarious but not so much when it kept recording my son screaming and playing it back in a higher pitch. I thought it was funny, but again my almost one year old was NOT AMUSED in the slightest 😂😩.The negatives are that it takes 3 AA batteries, which is a lot for a toy of that size.The volume is LOUD, and you cannot adjust it. Talk about overstimulation!I would recommend this toy, but specifically for older children and up. This is not really suitable for most babies in my opinion, especially because of the volume being so loud. I think the movement mixed with the loud sounds is a little jarring for infants.I found it to be fun, cute, and entertaining. I will put it away until he's older.🌵🌵🌵
