Very good.
Very nice product, hair and scalp responding well, no flakes and hair feels nice, non of the problems described by a few others. Lovely, light aroma, not chemical smelling, just very fresh and clean, more like fresh herbs with a hint of spice. We are in a soft water area, plus husband (who it was for) has been using a liquid natural shampoo for a while, so it could be one or both of these things contributing to his hair/scalp not having to go through an "acclimatization" period. It's looking like the bar will last a long time as it takes only a couple of rubs on wet hair to produce a creamy lather and there will be no polluting plastic bottle to dispose of when it is all gone - perfect.

Would definitely recommend.
I have used this for a couple of weeks and it seems to be doing a good job. My hair has not had many problems with switching straight from Herbal Essences to this either (although I would say that will probably depend on your hair etc.). Came well packaged and would recommend.

Don't like how it leaves my hair feeling
Find it almost too clean, and feel a bit dry and awkward on the hairbrush. Ended up using a different shampoo after

Solid shampoo
Pleasant to use but I didn't feel it suited my hair type.

Excellent product - multiple uses when travelling
I am trying out products to take with me on a long trip, including some backpacking. I wanted to go as minimalist as possible to cut down on liquids and bottles. The checklist was long: I wanted something that would work as a body wash, shampoo, conditioner, face wash etc. and to smell nice too (I'm female). I tried the Lush products but they were too drying and gave me a flaky scalp and dry skin. I tried a couple of others too, including Dr Bronner's castille soap (didn't work on my hair, felt chalky). This shampoo bar from Etieno did a great job, and is probably the one I'll take with me. It smells pretty good (herbal and fresh), and hasn't stripped my hair. It's definitely very conditioning, I found it good for my dry skin as a body/face bar too. I did have to use an apple cider vinegar rinse the first couple of times after shampooing as I live in a hard water area (but will be travelling to a soft water area). The bar itself is big and bulky, so I'll be taking it in pieces which will be easier to use. It does feel a bit softer than other bars and may collapse more easily, so I'll have to be careful to keep it dry. I do wish the scent would stay on skin longer though -- it is so mild, it washes away, although that's probably why my sensitive skin likes it so much!
