Hans: Alliance Series, Book 4

I know I said on my last review that Dom was my favorite guy, but I lied. HANS. IS. LIFE. In my own personal opinion, Hans is the PERFECT book boyfriend. I love Cassie. I love that Hans only wants to call her Cassandra. Or Little Girl. Ugh. When I tell you this book gave me TINGLES. It had me blushing. When Hans ate all of the baked goods Cassie brought him even when they were super gross and he didn't like them at all. Like, ate every last bite. I swooned. And then when he kept the post it notes. *sigh* I melted into a puddle when he got so offended when the enemy found his stash of post its and messed them all up and he got so angry he had to use his Katana sword. Not even kidding, it made me have butterflies. Just like it did for Cassie. Hans has some hang ups since his sister was kidnapped and murdered 20 years prior and Cassie just rolled with it. Hans constant need to be physically touching her. or when he needed both hands but he didn't want to let her go, he would make her hold on to his belt buckle. Or when he reached out to The Alliance to call in that favor from Dom, she held on to the side of his truck while he was showing things to the guys because she knew he needed eyes on her at all times. Could she have not held on to the truck? Sure. But she did it because she knew Hans needed her safe. I know that doesn't make a ton of sense but it totally makes sense in the book. This couple together was everything I could have asked for. Honestly. It's dark but it's cozy. I saw someone refer to SJ Tilly writing a subgenre called Cozy Dark Romance and that's exactly what this series is. It's dark. there's violence, and dark things, and bad guys. But there's sweet and happy, and love, and everything you could need. This series is a series I will read over and over and over again! This is the first series I've read by SJ Tilly so I'm gonna dive in to the others because I can't get enough!!

Hans and Cassie are the perfect couple in this series. They’re neighbors and she’d been trying to befriend him when she moved to the house across from him. But he’s never around and never answers the doorbell so she leaves food and cookies she baked for him in food containers at his front door. She knows that he gets them, eats or maybe discards them but she gets her clean containers back. This went on for a year. She doesn’t know that he’s a very dangerous man, an assassin with a mission to kill human traffickers to avenge his kidnapped and murdered younger sister. She doesn’t know that since she moved in, he had surveillance cameras on her house and knows everything she does because he’s obsessed with her. He even followed her to a violent part of Mexico when she went with her colleagues for a work-related conference. And sure enough, they were kidnapped and he saved them all but his identity was hidden in a mask and rescue gear. This was a delicious read, action-packed, engaging, thrilling, sexy and full of suspense. I enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down. It’s funny how all of the MMCs here in the series are so in love and so possessive of their women! I just love them all and their stories.

I waited for the audio to listen to this one. And I am glad I did. The audio is really good.This is Hans story, and you meet him through the series. He makes appearances here and there.Hans develops an obsession with his neighbor Cassie. While Cassie is trying to see her neighbor every chance she can.This story is a good one, I enjoyed it in one sitting. But I will admit, it was not my favorite of the series. It is still a good storyline, and the characters are easy to enjoy.

Being a huge fan of Nero, King, and Dom I was so thrilled that we were getting more! When I found out that Hans was getting his very own book I couldn't wait to read it! This the character I needed to know more about! This fourth installment became an instant anticipated read of mine. I dived right back into the Alliance Series and couldn't turn away. I absolutely loved this story!Hans has been such a mystery and I was so happy that we were getting his story!Hans and Cassie's journey immediately hooked me and didn't let go! These two souls get more than they expected as they become neighbors. Cassie bakes and brings over what she makes to Hans, but the door is her greeter, not him. When circumstances have Hans and Cassie's worlds colliding, will they give into temptation and dive into the darkness, together?There was so much more to Hans than meets the eye and I loved getting to peel back his layers as well as Cassie's. I admired Cassie and her dedication to her blog. I adored her and how relatable, strong, and priceless she was. Hans was such a tough man surrounded by darkness, but his heart shined. The humanness shown by both Cassie and Hans throughout was so wonderful. They were so curious about each other. The back and forth between these two was not only entertaining, but full of feels and utterly blushworthy! The nicknames they have for one another, Butterfly and Grizzly Bear are seriously two of my favorites ever. 🥰Gah! The way Cassie was just as obsessed with Hans as Hans was with Cassie! And their chemistry, Holy fire! Some of the most unforgettable and heat filled moments. Hans and Cassie together were absolutely Chef's kiss, everybody! 😘Hans is one of those reads you don't wanna devour like a sweet treat yet at the same time you wanna savor every single word because you don't want to let this story and it's characters go! Move over Holidays, Hans is the only present I wanted and needed this year! 😏🔥🐻Being back in this world was so special for this heart of mine! The Alliance crew all shines bright with every single installment and getting more of them had my heart filled with so much dang joy!With Hans, S.J. Tilly created an absolutely extraordinary, unique, epically addictive, dark, heat and heart filled novel that I'll never ever forget! She's done it once again, everyone! This was my most anticipated reads of the year and it absolutely blew me away and left me hugging my kindle with my chest full of all the feels! If you haven't met the Alliance crew yet, what are you waiting for?! You NEED these characters and their stories in your lives. Trust me, just like your favorite sweet treats, you'll want to devour Hans, Nero, King, and Dom! They have it all and then dome and this phenomenal series is not to be missed. I loved all the books of this series but Cassie is definitely my favorite. She was so funny and hers and Hans storie was really good. S.J Tilly could write another one for the series involving all couples. I will definitely read.

This book has been the funniest in the entire Alliance series I have been cracking up reading about Hans and Cassie. She’s a terrible cook/baker but doesn’t know and keeps giving him homemade food. Hans being kind and obsessed with her just keeps eating it. One of the best lines that shows Hans’ quirky sense of humour is when he says “I don’t know how she could possibly think she was being quiet. Her exit could’ve woken me from a coma.”The casual sociopathic tendencies that we come to love from Hans: “If I witnessed her getting into the back of a stranger’s car, I’d have my sniper rifle out and aimed at the back of the driver’s head before you could say psychotic.”I loved this book so much. I am heartbroken the alliance series is over. I love S.J. Tilly’s work. I am obsessed.I have so many favourite quotations. Another one was “A bear’s gotta eat.” Me = swooning. I didn’t think I could love a female lead more than Val and Payton but my gosh is Cassie ever amazing. She’s just as crazy as Hans. Her jealousy is adorable and she’s always keeping Hans on his toes. AND THE SKITTLES OH MY GOSH THE SKITTLES.This book was everything an amazing ending to an amazing series. We saw all of our favourites back again. And met some more intense, dangerous yet fun friends. I loved every aspect of this series and I’m going to read it again from start to finish soon. Absolutely fantastic. 10/10, 100% recommend.

this series had me going through so many emotions at once, the characters are so beautifully written and i was immersed in this book all day! a truly truly talented author i must say and an absolutely phenomenal read!

This is my first of the author and I just loved it ..everyword will keep you tuned ..though I guessed Cassie's father the moment he met HANS😍
