6 feet. Comes in two 3' pieces. Easy to install, looks nice, well designed.

Q: Could the bar be cut to be shorter than 6 feet? Say 3-4 feet instead.

It's two pieces that connect, so you may be able to just use one of them.

Q: Can you mount only one of the 3 foot bars (space shortage)?

It looks like you should be able to. The bars connect in the middle and one is the same width (no tapering) all the way across, so it should fit into both endcaps.
