Books is a clean and easy read. Hit every part soapmaking. Fats, Acids, Liquids, additives, colorants etc.Text is broken down into small sections, easy charts and lists.Love the sections that are insights and advice in quick quotes from soapers, commercial and at home soapers.Been through 50-60 books since I started soaping. I now have 3, including this one. It is one of the best.Not many recipes and the ones there are very basic. But that's what the other book is for this is perfect for technique, soaping properties, lye solution and working with all different kinds of oils.

This book is my go to!I wish I bought it at the beginning of my soapmaking journey!It touches on various subjects water discounts,and other "issues"you may encounter in certain cold process situations it explains in detail what to do and how to avoid issues and basically how to make "perfect soap essentially".My issue was "too soft soap"I have purchased a diff more precise scale and that helped a lot this book was still helpful and informative.

I am happy with this book. It explains simply the terminology and the processes. I love the pace of it and the organization it provides. I am new at this and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about venturing into homemade soap making. It is a great guide. I will definitely keeping this author on my list as a reference as I get better with my craft.

It's nice to have tips from many soap makers; to hear about their successes and also to hear about what doesn't work. I love this book!

Wonderful book for new soapmakers. Has so many great tips when starting out and even for experienced soapmakers.

Love it. Great book

This book is amazing because it gives informations you don't find in the usual soapmaking book. There are tons of tips and advice I wish I had known sooner. I often come back to it, and it's my favourite book about soapmaking so far! A must-have for any soapmaker.
