I really enjoyed getting to play with different art supplies to see what I liked before committing to an entire set. The creative Kickstarter cards are fun and useful, and the small size of the paper pads means it’s easy to fill them up. All around a good kit that inspired my creativity.

I definitely wouldn’t call myself a professional artist but I do like to make art for fun. I also don’t really have a collection of “premium” art supplies. I've been drawing since I was in elementary school so I’ve gotten a lot of “artist kits” as Christmas/birthday gifts and this is the best art kit I’ve ever had.The boxes all have different mediums that compliment each other and the mediums get more and more advanced as you go through the boxes. They start you off with colored pencils and markers, move you up to watercolor, and end on paints. I only tried the colored pencils, pens, markers, and watercolors but I think they were all very good quality. All of the supplies are manufactured by the people who make the box. I’ve never heard of them before so I was worried about the quality but everything I’ve tried was very good!The company was also thoughtful enough to make the paper of the “passports” in each box compatible with the medium that was in the box. For example, the first box had normal paper for the colored pencils and pens and then box 2 had thicker, textured paper for the watercolor so it doesn’t bleed through. I thought it was very thoughtful and showed me that they actually are knowledgeable about their products.The prompt cards are also in like 4 different languages so this box is very accessible to a lot of people around the world. Each box has 5 different prompt cards but the passports that come in each box have PLENTY of pages so you can redraw prompts if you want to or just create something without the prompt.I challenged myself and decided to try and create Billie Eilish’s album cover with watercolor. I’ve never really used watercolor before so it was a big learning experience for me but I think it turned out pretty cool (and the watercolor is sparkly which I thought was really pretty). My favorite thing about the box is how diverse the mediums are. I’ve been doing traditional art for years and I’ve only really used maybe 3 or 4 of the mediums in the box before and everything else was new to me. I definitely can see myself trying this again once I get the hang of watercolor.I think this box is an amazing gift if you know someone who likes to make art or if you just want to feel inspired and try something new! :)

I purchased this because I recognized the name ‘Arteza’ as having mid range priced art supplies, and because there are a lot of art supply categories here without having to buy a huge amount of any one thing. I also got this because my sisters also love to do art and when we vacation together we all bring our watercolors and head to a park to create. I was thinking that I could bring this box and that way I wont have to pack a million things. The real hook though are the scratch off cards giving you a challenge. The 3 of us all find that we have the hardest time deciding WHAT to create.Although I already own many of these supplies, sometimes limiting yourself to a smaller bundle actually helps the creative process. Plus, I have acrylic paint but have never used it. I have canvasses, watercolor paper, sketch pads, etc. and we can just grab those and this box and head on out. Maybe some water, a few more paint brushes, and some paper towels.I think that the scratch off cards are the equivalent of taking a creative class where you end up doing a bunch of things you have never done. I am used to using professional quality supplies but this set is just for fun. I always say to myself “It’s just paper, paint, etc. It doesnt matter if your project isnt ‘good’. Really. This is for fun, for relaxation, for laughing, for challenging myself”.Woodless watercolor pencils and colored pencils just mean you get more product and when you sharpen the watercolor pencils you can use the shavings too. I love gel pens, have never used Inkonic Pens, or gouache tubs …. Now I just need my sisters to arrive so we can get started. One thing I know we are going to do is to create portraits of each other. They are going to be terrible…and we are going to laugh like crazy!

This is such a fun and novel style art kit! Given the variety of supplies included, it has something for everyone, and will push other artists a little out of their comfort zone, which is a good thing. This kit contains three separate boxes, each of which contains supplies and prompts to start creating. The prompts are presented in form of a “scratch-off” card (like a lottery scratcher), so you don’t know what you’re going to get. There are 15 cards total. You also receive a small sketchbook (4x6”) in each box. The small size makes the task less overwhelming. Then you have the art supplies: there is gouache, acrylic, watercolor pencils, colored pencils, watercolor, brush pens, gel pens, Fineliners, brushes, a palette, a water brush pen, a pencil sharpener, and a tool bag to carry it all. This is a really fun kit and would make a great gift for creatives.

I suffer occasionally from time to time with artist's block. As a result, I end up struggling with completing any artwork or filling sketchbooks. This creative kickstarter kit from ARTEZA is exactly made for trading art block. :)The sets are separated into three little cartons. Each carton has all the supplies you need to fulfill the prompts made specifically for those supplies. Many of the prompts are structured well enough to make you think but prevent you from struggling with them. The paper pads are quite nice and the actual supplies are good quality. I liked the gel pens and watercolours a lot.I think overall, this is a very good activity kit. It works very well for art block and the supplies are high enough in quality to be used long after all the prompts are finished. I highly recommend this if you suffer from artist's block!
