The rubber feet on this fan are nice for multiple placement options. It works equally well laying flat or on it's side. It's very quiet for the lower speeds and gets a slight hum when operating at the top 25% or so. Speed controller works well and there's also an on/switch on the inline controller. Would order again.

First thing noticed about this fan is that it arrives disassembled, the mounting screws for the grill and plastic feet are not long enough, so had to assemble without the rubber feet. Other than that, the fan works to provide cooling air. Have not had fan long enough to comment on longevity. Not much vibration nor noise.

Another 120mm fan for my devices. Can be placed underneath a router, on top of a video game console or home theater receiver, or stood on its side as needed. Noise level is no better or worse than any other 120mm fan, so unless you're attuned to fan noise to a high degree it won't interfere with other ambient sounds at all.
