This is great for keeping a backup pair of sunglasses in the car. The magnet holds the sunglasses securely, but releases easily when you need to grab the pair. I have a spot in my car for my sunglasses, but needed a safe spot for keeping a pair in the car for my husband. This works great, doesn't take up much space, looks nice, and was very affordable.

I have always had a bad habit of losing my sunnies in the car, but never wanted to buy one of those plastic glasses clips I have seen everywhere. I have a feeling those would break or the latch would fail after awhile. I saw this listed and I loved the fact that there are no mechanical moving parts. Magnets! Great idea!This clip is well stitched (no flier threads) and seems to be overall well constructed. I am not sure it's made from actual leather, but it feels nice and has a good texture. It does a great job at holding my sunglasses. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the visor clip part is a bit wide and doesn't really clamp down on my visor. Granted, I have a pretty thin visor, but it DOES stay where you put it for the most part. I have moved it a few times when learning how to release the clip to get my glasses, but once I got the feel for it it's not a big deal.Thanks for a great solution!

For a lot of years I had the plastic version of this in my cars. I really never used them to much since I pretty much wore my sunglasses into the house and forgot to put them back where they belong. The other day I picked up a new pair of sunglasses and wanted to make sure I kept a pair in the car. That's when the plastic one completely fell apart.The way this is made that's not going to happen. It really holds on with the magnets it looks a lot nicer than a piece of plastic sticking down. It's easy enough to use you could do it with one hand. And this was only a little bit more money than I paid for my plastic ones and I'm talking at least 20 years ago. So a very good value and I will order more for all my other vehicles.

Works great on thicker sunglasses as long as you push them all the way down to the fold area. The magnet holds the glasses in place even if it sticks out a bit. Definitely like it, just have to use two hands to do it, so driving and placing them in is a challenge. Definitely a good magnet.
