Good value timers as there are two in a box and, being digital, are easy to see the time and to set up. Far more timer settings than most of us will ever need (18). One thing to double check though is that you have set the clock for the correct time period. One of our timers didn't come on the first night, even though all the settings appeared to be correct - but the following morning I looked at the clock and noticed that a PM had appeared next to the time, so it was 12 hours out. When it is morning it just shows the time and there is no AM. PM appears after 12 noon.. So it is advisable to check that you are on the correct time! Apart from that, all is OK and I like the fact that a green light shows up when the timer is on. If you have a timer on a lamp, for example, and the bulb goes - you can easily see that the green light is on, so it is the bulb that is at fault and not the timer. Overall, very happy with them.

Used (internally) to regulate my external Christmas lights. Good load capability at 3kW, too. Very easy to program if you're used to digital devices.Arrived charged and ready to program. If no display, stick 'em in any socket for a few hours to charge (also features an embedded back-up battery so you don't lose your preprogrammed times). The easiest way to clear your time programs is to reset the timer.The timer works on a continuous 7 day cycle, allowing 10 simultaneous timer programs. All so very simple and reliable! These devices, only a little more expensive than the fiddly mechanical timers I replaced, are the badger's nadgers. Well worth the expense and they appear to be sturdy and well-built. Strongly recommended.

These times work well and kept running for over a month whilst the house was unoccupied. Easy to setup if you follow the instructions but difficult to workout without. Looses one star as one of the timers didn't work the first time I set it up so had to reset the next evening. Point to be aware of, if the time you set the timer to come on is the same time when you're setting the timer up you'll have to wait until the next timer point before it will work.

I bought this in one of the amazon sales and it arrived quickly in a pack of two. One worked perfectly, and was easy to set up. Unfortunately the other timer had a glitch and didn't turn on automatically. Having read the previous reviews I thought I'd try contacting the seller directly (as on a previous review [email protected]), and ask for help before sending them both back.The seller was amazingly helpful, easy to contact via email and hassle free.The timers are easy to set up, and have 10 different 'on' and 'off' times to use. This is more than enough, as you can select the days if the week individually, or in different patterns such as mon-fri, or m,w,f etc. I use this attached to a light to come on when I'm away, and so can set the on off times to vary, which I think is much better.Great product - when it works- made even better by the helpfulness of the seller.

I eventually got round to using this product having bought it in March. On opening the box, I was surprised to see one of the adapters was already on and the other had a blank screen. I discovered that the adapters do not have a on/off function and that they are constantly on. As a result, the internal battery in one of them had run down and so rendered it useless.The adapters have triangular screws in their casing making them difficult (if you do not have a triangular screw bit) to open.Additionally, the instructions are not very clear. I had to resort to watching a video on YouTube and program the one functioning adapter.Save your money.

I'm a bit put off my this purchase. The two units in the box were easy to set up and programme and worked as they were supposed to do. However. one of the units gained about 20 minutes a day and the other about 10..so, I have had to send them back - easy with Amazon, of course, and I have ordered another pair of switches - but not this style - as I say because its put me off this particular type of timer.

I only bought these a few days ago and so my review does not take account of longevity of function! Having said that: I read through the instructions and found them straightforward (no need to find a handy child!). My main requirement is for one to operate my fish pond pump and filter. I chose this model because I can use a slightly different regime at weekends. My previous mechanical timer did not allow this. There are many more possible time allocations available than I could use, but it depends upon what you want. The second timer will be used for outside lights at Xmas, and for internal lights if we go away.

Had these for quite a while now and still going strong and working brilliantly. Like the various modes of configuration the multiple different times and days that I can program these to power on certain electrical devices that are otherwise plugged in at various locations around the house. Now the nights are getting darker earlier the various lights are coming on with no further interaction from ourselves as and when needed for that bit of extra security.Simple and easy to use, no complaints at all
