my wife is a professional artist and loves these!
My wife is a professional artist who makes a TON of fandom related badges and uses these to make the lanyard hole on the patch through laminated plastic, printer paper and construction paper so she needs really strong hole punches. I have watched her use these on over 100 badges so far and she has not had a single issue with these and in fact has been raving positively about how much she loves these and how much easier it has made her work. She loves how grippy these are and how well they punch holes.

Just what I needed
I use this product for art projects and they work great!

Good for occasional use
I needed a hole punch to turn cardstock into earring display cards and this one came available in Amazon Vine for review. First I tested just one piece of cardstock. The hole punch was able to punch through one piece just fine but stuck a bit upon release. Still I was able to punch-punch-punch fairly quickly. I tried three pieces of cardstock next and couldn't puncture through at all. Two pieces of cardstock was possible but not smooth. It was very easy to release the hinge and empty it. I would say that this is a good tool to have around if you occasionally need to punch a hole in something, but if you need it for constant or heavy-duty work then look for something stronger.

Poor quality, broke first use
Poor quality and design. Could not punch through a piece of printer paper and the force of trying bent the whole device making it even more worthless. So- never work and broke immediately.

Sturdy in the hands - Doesn’t feel cheap, but doesn’t make a clean hole punch. Two out of every five punches weren’t clean and the paper circle left behind had to be ripped off
