This is a lovely low profile hub that adds the more USB sockets to my mini pc without using one up in the process. The connectivity to my USB c socket is doing and positive and the hub is very well made with a lovely satin finish. Having a card reader included for mini and standard SD cards is a bonus. Lovely quality and performance.

This dongle is perfect -- lightweight, tiny, works by just plugging it in... and it matches my new space grey Macbook. It also arrived in one day -- perfect and a good product for the price.

A good USB C adapter for any Laptop that has minimal connection ports such as most ultra-books and Macbook laptops these days. I bought this since i could not only use with my Acer Predator Laptop to expand the number of USB ports but this also works with my Samsung Note 8 phone where i can attach USB Pen drives and SD Cards to the phone via this Hub. The hub is well built, feels decent quality in the hand and the shell is metal. With 3 extra full-sized USB 3.0 ports you can easily add additional USB Drives to your laptops. For example, if have a pend drive plugged in, and wireless keyboard receiver and a sync cable for my phone all the same time. Data transfer speeds over the USB C cable and via the USB 3.0 ports are quick you can get up to 5GB per second depending on your harddrive and its cable. I also use this device to connect USB devices to my phone, for example i have a USB games controller that i can attach to my phone that works brilliantly via this hub. Also, i have a mini keypad that id attach occasionally on my Note 8, in fact that is how im typing this review on my phone - saves a lot of time then using the on-screen keyboard. The USB C cable is under 30cm which is good as it offers some flexibility in placing the hub, but being on the move most times id have preferred the USB connector to be attached on the side of the device so it could attach to a laptop for example without a trailing wire. Nonetheless, can't complain given how good the hub performs and the fact that it works with multiple devices i own. Id recommend this hub especially if you have Ultrabook, MacBook or a Chrome Laptop or any laptop for that matter where you have limited full sized USB ports or a missing memory card slot as this combo hub can easily give you extra working ports each with high data transfer speeds.

According to my son, USB-C is new and has come out of nowhere but, by all accounts, it is the port of the future. Many new computers now only have one port, and this multiport adapter expands the number of ports of such computers. Having three ordinary USB3 ports, an SD card slot, and a TF card (micro SD) slot, it is perfect for connecting devices such as cameras, external hard drives, USB drives, keyboards, mice and more, to a computer. It is small, and light, with a short cable which doesn't get in the way or tangle, and it plugs straight into the computer's Type-C port and is ready to go. It's as simple as that, I'm told. However, to be honest, I don't know what I was thinking of when I bought it because I do not have anything with a Type-C port - so it was soon commandeered by my son, and I haven't seen it since. I don't really understand about transfer speeds etc, but my son says it transfers files very quickly, and he loves it. The adapter is compatible with new MacBooks (2016 and later), but not with my 2015 MacBook Retina Pro - which is why I have 'lost' it. It is small and lightweight, came in a thermoformed plastic tray within a fairly plain cardboard box, and the silver coloured one is made in the same sort of finish as a MacBook, presumably to complement it. No user instructions were provided, just a tiny thank you card, but I don't suppose instructions were necessary.

Elegant little hub to convert one of my HP Spectre's USB Type C ports to 3x Type A/3.0. Plug it in, it works...nice little blue LED backlight for the ports. Delivered in double-quick time for a very reasonable price. Recommended.

This is a basic and probably generic USB C hub. It's a reasonable price, you can pay a lot for one of these. It works well with a Google Pixelbook. The internal blue led is more ornamental than practicable. It does tell that it is plugged in !! I would have preferred a individual status led for each port, but I dont think any of these devices have them. It has the usual 3 USB ports, and a SD and Micro SD card reader. Throughput, or transfer speed will as always depend on the read speed of your SD card, USB stick, or external drive, and the write speed of the drive you are transferring data to, or round the other way. Also the type, size, and number of files. it also helps to have as much RAM as possible. A good basic hub, recommended.
