Fresh is best!
How it works is pretty straightforward and easy! It also has a premium feel to it which makes it pretty nice to use! It seals and sucks all the air out within seconds keeping your coffee fresh for longer! Can’t forget to mention it looks pretty sweet on the bar.

excellent, holds vacuum seal
I bought this to store coffee beans. It auto adjusts and holds vacuum seal perfectly. I roast my own beans and generally let them off gas CO2 before storing them... did a test and loaded my beans immediately, over the next few hours the cannisters automatically adjusted vacuum seal as the beans gave off CO2. highly recommend this canister, well worth the cost and better than alternatives esp for coffee storage

Best vacuum canister available
[UPDATE]I revisit my review after weeks of use - and lift to 4 stars. I’ve found that it really works! Vacuum storage dramatically improves the quality of stored coffee beans. We all have to learn that you should no more leave coffee out of vacuum than you would leave milk out of the fridge. With a month’s supply of beans, I kept half in their re-sealed bag to use first, the other half in vacuum for later. Over two weeks the bag-stored beans, as always, needed grind-tightening each day as the beans slowly aged, to get the correct espresso pour and flavour. Then came the difference: from week 3, beans taken out of vacuum required the grind to be COARSENED right back to the setting for new beans. Their ageing was slowed. And more. The tail-end supply of beans, beyond a month in vacuum, did not stale - they gave me bright flavour and rich crema just like beans fresh from the roaster. That never happens with coffee beans kept in their bag (which means in air…month-old beans from the bag typically give a watery espresso pour, flat taste and thin crema, no matter what I do with the grind).I am convinced. The brilliance of this system is the sensor holding the vacuum for days or weeks, which no manual canister can do. So 4 stars…one stays off for the high price, non-replaceable battery, and less-than-kilo capacity. For now Outpeak’s is the biggest available, it takes 600g of beans. Here’s a photo of mine next to a standard kilo bag. Anyone with a kilo (or 2 pound) bag of coffee beans needs two of these expensive cans…can they make one that is 10cm taller? My advice for home espresso fans is: vacuum storage needs to become a normal and essential item like a good grinder.[On receipt of my purchase seven weeks ago I initially gave just 3 stars, noting the high price, non-replaceable battery, and less-than-kilo capacity. And left open that I might lift the stars after a test of storing coffee beans for a month.]

Works great, coffee stays fresh
This canister works great and keeps my beans fresh. I buy large bags of coffee beans so I needed something that would keep the beans fresh over time. The seal works great. I’ve had the canister for 2 months and no issues.

Terrible product
Terrible product. Stopped working 45 days after purchase and the return window is closed.UPDATE- the company contacted me and made it right so I give them credit for that. Buy from the company with confidence. Possibly just a bad one time product issue

Worth Every Penny—Keeps Coffee Fresh & Feels Luxurious!
This automatic vacuum coffee canister is a bit pricier than others, but you absolutely get what you pay for! The moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its sleek, high-end design. The materials feel premium to the touch, and even after 2 months of daily use, it still looks and works flawlessly—like it’s brand new!The standout feature? The ultra-tight lid with automatic vacuum-sealing. It locks in freshness like nothing I’ve tried before, keeping my coffee beans aromatic and perfectly preserved. No more stale coffee worries! Charging is hassle-free, and even the included spoon feels sturdy and thoughtfully designed.Yes, it’s an investment, but for coffee lovers who value freshness and quality craftsmanship, this is a game-changer.

Perfect for large quantities of tea.
My favorite tea comes in a one pound bag and it would go stale before I could finish it. But this tea canister is perfect for storage because it sucks all the air out to keep the tea fresh. Works great. It has a battery that needs charging using a USB cord which comes with the canister. But you have to supply the actual plug part. I use my iPhone charger plug. Anyway… I recommend this canister for your favorite teas or coffee that comes in a large quantity.

Great device - wish they'd change the gasket material so it doesn't hold smells
I love these vacuum containers...I got several of them (one for beans, one for ground coffee, one for tea) and gave a couple as gifts. They maintain the vacuum seal automatically, and they have a nice indicator that recesses as the vacuum is achieved that lets you confirm the state of the vacuum (if you don't place the lid on correctly it won't achieve a seal, and the indicator lets you see that). When you release the vacuum, you have a minute or two to remove a scoop of coffee (or whatever's in there) and replace the lid before the lid attempts to re-establish the vacuum. If you will have the lid off longer than that, you should press the power button to turn it off before you remove the lid. The instructions didn't make this clear to me and so the first time the lid turned on the vacuum pump motor while it was sitting on the counter it surprised me. Now I understand the design philosophy, and the reason for it - most of the time I only need the lid off briefly. The reason for not giving the unit 5 stars is that the rubber sealing gasket around the lid absorbs smells from whatever is stored in the unit. That's fine if you're always using it for the same thing, say, coffee. But recently I used one of my canister to store a strongly scented rice dish for a week or so. When I cleaned the unit, it still smelled strongly of the herbs in the rice. I put baking soda in the canister and stored it for a few days, and while the baking soda absorbed some of the smell, there was still a lot left over. I have been soaking the gasket in hot water with detergent and baking soda for an hour now, and the scent is dissipating, but it's still very unpleasant. I do hope they will change the gasket material to something that will not absorb smells, and, hopefully, offer the gasket as an upgrade part to those of us who bought the present model.
