THOKY
I can't speak highly enough about this keyboard. I've ordered several looking for "thoky" and "creamy" and this fits the tab precisely. LOVE IT. 10/10 Recommend.

Love this keyboard
This is a really nice smooth keyboard, I use it for schoolwork and gaming. It's not too loud that it bothers others. I gave it a 4 star because the firmware was a little difficult to get working. Other then that it really is a great keyboard wired/wireless, and even Bluetooth works wonderfully

Thumbs up!
For today's mechanical keyboard review, I am taking a look at the DAREU EK98PRO Tri-Mode Mechanical Keyboard. This is the first time for me trying out a DAREU product. But I do know that DAREU is another mechanical keyboard company in China, which has fierce competition with other companies grabbing international attention for affordable mechanical keyboards. The brand is 16-year-old brand and a company that puts a premium on technology, quality and fashion for computer peripherals for e-sports or office work. So, there A to Z line of products are popular. But I am checking out their EK75 Pro Tri-Mode (Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4 ghz and USB-C wired) gasket-mounted 97-key keyboard. These days, it's become popular to use gasket mounted keyboards which contains six layers of high-density foam to reduce keystroke noise. The keyboard features linear red switches (utilizing DAREAU HiFi Dream Linear switch) and features a customizable South-Facing RGB backlight with 26 backlit modes, 5 lighting modes on side lights trips and more. The keyboard is rechargeable thanks to its 4000mAh large capacity battery. One of the attractive things about this keyboard is that you can connect up to five devices to this one keyboard which is a plus.Another positive about this keyboard, I like the top right corner knob for volume adjustment. I also like how the page up, del, and page down keys are situated vertically on the right and it does have arrow keys. There is also LED indicators for caps lock. And there are also extra keycaps in yellow if you want to change things up and yes, it does come with a keycap puller plus a USB-C cable if you prefer to be wired. For the most part, using this keyboard for gaming and also office work, which I am using to type this review at this moment, it just feels natural and smooth and I don't feel the stiffness of some other red key switches which is great. I just like the smooth flow of each keystroke and for the most part, the responsiveness for this keyboard during gaming has been quite positive. No problems at all.If anything, DAREU is in a positive position for its mechanical keyboards. The quality of the EK97PRO is very good but with top tier companies China producing top tier quality mechanical keyboards, it's a highly competitive industry.Do I have a preference between the EK75PRO or EK98PRO? Well, it's all subjective. For those wanting a smaller keyboard will go for the EK75PRO, for those wanting that numlock and numeric 10-key, then the EK98PRO is for you. But you can't go wrong with either.Overall, I do give the DAREU EK98PRO Tri-Mode Mechanical Keyboard a thumbs up!

How do I turn OFF the back lights completled by default?
So far I'm happy with this keyboard compared to other BT keyboards for my MAC. Being a former IBM Selectric repair man, the shape of the keytops are perfect for me. There are 2 isssues I"m not happy with. The first iss the tendency to get double characters (such as the double s in the last two sentences.) The 2nd is - I cannot find a way to turn OFF the LED lights, only change their colors/patterns. I want the off completely. FN [ seems to turn them off, but do I have to do that every time I go to use the keyboard? I want th er default to be off completely except caps lock.

Gasket moot if you type like you're trying to wake up the neighbors, otherwise recommended
I must type too hard to benefit from a gasket mounted keyboard. I just didn’t notice much of a difference between this and other keyboards I have. While the switches are not removable, they are your standard cross (+) stems so you can at least change your keycaps if you want. Unlike a few of the other keyboards I have tried out via the Vine program, this one does not allow you to reassign keys. I touch type, so missing keys are a bit of an issue for me. I can learn to get over the absence of a num pad that some less than 100% keyboards (100% meaning it has 104 keys [or more] and follows the standard ANSI 101 layout established by the infamous IBM Model M).I prefer to have dedicated HOME and END keys and not to have to push a second key to gain access to that feature. It did sound nice and thocky out of the box, but when I switched the keycaps out for my MOA profile set it lost a little bit of the thock. It would probably make a great keyboard for someone that doesn’t use the NAV cluster keys (although Home and End are the only ones that are missing) and who doesn’t hit the keys as hard as I do so they can benefit from the gasket construction
