This is nice effective pulley system for raising and holding up something like a light, or anything you want to hang from the ceiling . Easy to setup and get working quickly. Probably shouldn't put an excessive amount of weight on it.

The design and build quality of this 2Pc set is fairly standard compared to other rope ratchet/pulley sets that I've purchased for grow lights. With the one exception being the length and gauge of the rope is much longer and thicker, respectively, with this set. The locking ratchet mechanism in the pulley works very well, and the rope is of good, strong quality. Although I won't be using them for tents or canopy set-ups, I have not doubt they will work perfectly for those applications. Me, I'm using them to suspend grow lights. And they are great for that use. I like the red color for the visibility factor. And I suspect that for tents and canopies, the red color is even more important (i.e. visibility = safety). At any rate, this 2Pc set sells for $9.99, a price that may not be the cheapest, but it is competitive. Especially when you factor in the length and gauge of the rope. Bottom line, this is an affordable, High-Viz RED set of ratcheting rope hangers that I am happy to recommend. Good Luck! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used both of these on a recent vaca for various purposes. One I used as a towel rack in the bathroom, the other I used in securing our cabana on the beach. Both worked very easily and without issue. The rope itself is good, the ratchet action is great. For those who hate tying knots, these are really great products and the price is reasonable considering the quality. I'd purchase again.

I own larger versions of the same ratcheting tension ropes which I use for heavier applications (tie things down to truck bed, etc.) This pair of ratcheting ropes is small - the rope is only 1/8” diameter (don’t be fooled by the photo with a hand next to the rope). I would use these indoors only - I am not sure how long the ratchet mechanism and the metal clips would last exposed to the elements. Although the rope seems very strong, I would not put very high loads on this since the ratchets are small. The ratchet is a great way to add tension to a rope, without having to tie a knot.
