Decent cord, but the strength ratings are highly exaggerated ...
Decent cord, but the strength ratings are highly exaggerated. I got the 2000lb cord and in testing it broke at around 500lbs of load. It still works ok for my application, but don't expect to get anywhere close to the claimed load ratings.

Tarp lines
I didn't buy this for kite line, that's not my hobby. I bought this to be ultralight tarp lines for backpacking, and for that it's great. I got the 100ft 250lb line, it's extremely light, thin, and strong. It doesn't tangle, it's easy to tie and untie, it's nearly fireproof, and the color is easy to see. Being Kevlar, you do have to knot the ends of the line to prevent unraveling, since you can't singe the ends like with other materials. I also like that it doesn't stretch like Paracord, my tarp doesn't wind up sagging halfway through the night.

Used this to tie down a tarp in a storm
My buddies and I were headed into the backcountry and needed a way to tie down a tarp to keep our wood dry. We spent 3 days in the high sierras backpacking and 2 of the days we expected heavy storms with possible snow. I used this cord to tie out a big 11ft tarp to keep our wood and ourselves dry during the day. The cord held up against 20MPH winds using trucker knots and taut line hitch knots. This isn't like para cord where you cut and melt. Instead its best to cut this cord then tie the ends in a loop. The only con I had was when I accidentally knotted the line up on itself. Because of how thin the line is it can be hard to pull it apart.

Strong, good color
Used this with some stick on hooks on my covered patio to hang some lightweight sheer curtains. Wanted something that wouldn't come apart and sag etc. So far it's looking good. It was thin enough for me to thread through the little gap in tbe metal hooks I used but took my scissors a couple tries to cut through. I didn't use expensive nice scissors but they are fairly new and not dull. The color is good too, it's not noticable on my patio. People won't know how cheaply I hung these curtains lol...

EMMAKITES 380 lb Braided Kevlar cord is literally top of the Line for Model rocketry!
This is some of the best kevlar cord I have purchased and used. It is a braided cord that is soft very pliable yet strong. What i really like is that it does not have a wax or other type of coating.. I use it for Model Rocket and High Power rocketry ejection straps and recovery harnesses for parachutes and the EMMAKITES KEVLAR is a top notch performer.

Great pull string for electrical wires
I used the 550lb string for pulling 4x#8 wires through 65 feet of 3/4" conduit (with 3 boxes along the way). It worked great for that. I knew from using Kevlar lines on sailboats this would have no significant stretch. The 550lb size was easy to handle. For feeding this fish line through the conduit I used the conventional trick of a bit of plastic bag tied to the string and a vacuum cleaner to suck it through. I mounted the spool in a dispenser by passing the screw of a small C-clamp through the spool hub and using other C-clamps as a base to hold the dispenser clamp. When pulling the wires I wrapped the string around a 1-1/4" dowel.

Great, high-tech and strong cord
Great, high-tech and strong cord. It knots well and isn't too slick that knots easily jam. Make sure you minimize exposure to sunlight or other UV source, as this damages Kevlar fibers.

Quality product
Allow me to weave a story. My couch cushions would keep sliding off my couch, so I attached some velcro to the cushions and the couch. I used regular thread, and the Velcro came unattached after I removed the cushions from the couch twice. I tried it again, doubling up on the amount of regular thread, the cushions lasted 3 pulls this time. So I purchased this wonderful Kevlar thread, re-attached the Velcro with this thread, and I've had no problems since. This thread is strong and goes through fabric easily, making the sewing process easy as well. It's been two weeks, and I pull up the cushions a lot to use the hide-a-bed when I have guests, and this fantastic thread hasn't budged at all. I'm very pleased.

Prompt delivery, goods as described.
Bought the 150lbs breaking strain line for use as lightweight guy lines on a tent but it’s not suitable for this. Way too thin to use for that purpose (it does say 1mm in the description and that’s accurate). It’s also quite “floppy” line and I couldn’t heat seal the fibres together to stop it unravelling (maybe I didn’t use enough heat?). I think that describing this line as “utility cord” does it no favours (as that to me means something similar to venetian blind cord or paracord). I’m sure it would make a fine kite line which is, to be fair, what the vendor’s shop is called. Not expensive enough to be worth returning but suspect it will sit in the garage unused and unloved.

Great stuff!I got the 150lbs version. I plan to get more, and thicker too.- Thin yet super strong.- Can be tied pretty well.- Works amazingly well for some sewing tasks, especially when you need extreme strength without doing the stitch many times. Not for general clothing, etc, but I have found many uses for it for leather, quick denim repairs, etc. You'll want some thick needles to do this. Slightly thicker than come in most kits, but can easily be found in Amazon or a supermarket. I got some at Sainsburys and also a big pack at the 99p store.- Very cut resistant, although can still be cut with a knife or scissors, just takes a bit more force. Really excellent for the thickness though.- Seems like a fair price.Feel free to ask me questions in the comments.

Really durable
I bought this as I want to replace some cheap bungee with something cut resistance. This thing is super strong. I braided three separate cord into a 3mm line. It is super amazing. I don't know if the previous comment of others is describing this product of being meltable. I assure you that it isn't as when I put it on a lighter it just burnt.

Correct length and slightly stronger than advertised. Works great for what I bought it for which is modwl rocket recovery systems. Good value for money.
