This is one fascinating lighter for sure! I just had to have one of these for emergencies after I saw it online. There is no flame, so wind cannot blow it out, plus it is rechargeable since there is no fire. Just truly amazing product that has been needed for years and years. The button is in the front to make it light up immediately. So simple to use. This is a large lighter than looks exactly like the old-fashioned version of the flip-top type that I remember my dad having when he smoked cigarettes. The lighter itself is of excellent quality with a nice heavy weight. I have the gold one which is a very eye catching gold that looks wonderful. I am so glad to have this because you just never know when a spark is needed. Ideal for those that go camping or hiking. Amazing item!

Full size and hefty plasma lighter in the style of a zippo, maybe a little larger and heavier. It seems really well made and the 3 plasma beams which cross in the middle are strong and light paper on fire instantly. No fiddling around to find the right spot as in other weaker lighters, you just press it for a second and you have fire. I would prefer type C charging to Micro USB but that is a minor point.Very nice lighter for most needs or to give as a gift.

It's heavy and feels like it's quality. Its a little bigger than a Zippo, so you can't swap cases with one. I like it alot, but, micro USB charging? In 2024? Really? My only complaint so far.

I had one of these before when the company had another name. I dropped it 50 times and used tons and it always recharged super fast and I found it useful to carry with me always. Then I lost it... and saw there was a newer one here.The newer one is much like the older, the metal parts that arc are a bit taller this time vs the last model which is nice so you don't melt the rubber under them while using it. it also has a much smoother and clean looking appearance from their first models especially on the inside near the hinge. They say it should take "1.5-2 hours" to charge, but from my experience with 2 now it's more like 30-45mins. Also the battery claims they have might be a bit over confident as I doubt I could "lit about 100 times with a full charge" probably more like 50 times honestly if using it in longer bursts, but that still is plenty to get you thru a days use. It also is a fun fidget item if you get bored.Few things they could improve about its design: When closed it does not sit evenly with the bottom half, if it did it would be much nicer feeling in that area, tho much better looking than my last one it still seems like the body will come with some dents/bulges from the manufacturing process, improve the batt for better longevity, ADD A BATTERY INDICATOR WHERE YOU CAN SEE IT, even 1 led that changes color visible inside where it's opened after and while you use it would be extremely useful for knowing its charge level remaining, ADD TYPE-C USB PORT using the outdated micro USB means I must carry the extra cable around or adapter to charge it vs using what most phones do, a slightly more robust switch would be nice.Pros: A lighter you never must refill, looks great, sounds great opening and closing, works on many tobacco products well, charges very quickly(almost too quick), affordable, seems dependable (dropped a bunch and keeps working)Cons: Body comes with dents/bulges/not lined up well with the body lines, micro USB not C-type, no charge level indicator visible from the top, battery a bit weaker than expected and buttons a but underwhelming.Conclusion: if you're looking for a decent electric lighter that does not look awkward to use in public, this is the one for you. It's convenient and worthy EDC item for any fire lighting tasks(that don't mind electricity being used), can be recharged, used as fidget item and seems somewhat resilient to short drops (at least on wood floors). This is the 2nd one I have bought since i lost the original model and I would buy it again if they made those improvements in the future.
