excellent fly repellant candles
Using these outside to keep flies away from the table. They work brilliantly. Price is nice so highly recommended

It’s 4 x 6oz instead of the 4 x 12oz advertised
I ordered this product believing it to be 4 x 12oz candles as stated multiple times on the item page.However, these are 6oz candles.They’re good candles, but be warned they are mislabelled as twice the size they really are.

Product description & images don't match, received 2x large candles in buckets
I was a little suprised when I opened the box containing the candles, as I was expecting 4 candles in colourful tins - like in the product pictures and description.However, I received 2 larger candles in metal buckets - as per my pictures (and the title).To be honest I quite like these 3 wick candles.From checking similar products online it seems these 14oz ones last for about 96-100hours.Where we live we can get midges in the summer, especially later in the day/evening, so handy to have these citronella candles on hand, to deter them.I'm only giving 3 stars as incorrect product supplied. But looking at other reviews it seems it's a bit hit and miss what you will actually receive...Value for money is ok.

Good size
Good size but as the wicks are near the top the wind kept blowing them out. Decent smell when they were alight.

Have to just say wanted a candle that looked nice and keep the bugs away and after testing the candles out did the job ! Looked good and nobody was bitten …. Even better two candles for a good price and quite big .

A pleasant way to confuse & repel those pesky bugs!
These are good value and quality Citronella candles which come nicely boxed.The two candles are held in metal buckets, which seems to be the standard presentation. These will get very hot while in use and should be sat on something heat-resistant that will not burn or mark.They are long-lasting. It is worth noting that the product description page states they should not burn for over 2 hours, which is strange given that the instruction for the first use is to keep them alight for 2-3 hours so that the top layer fully melts, which is sound advice.Tunnelling can be a problem with candles. The fact that these have three wicks each is a prominent plus feature, as it helps get an even burn. As usual, these wicks need to be snipped to a shorter length before lighting; I have never worked out why they can’t arrive trimmed!They produce a pleasant, citrusy fragrance that also works as a bug repellent by masking the scent of humans and food.
