There's hardly any mess due the lids on both sides, unlike most other pepper grinders designs. Well made for the price and I love that it has salt and pepper in one! You can also always change it up and put other spices in there as it seems to grind others like cardamom and grains of selim both slightly harder than your run of the mill...peppercorns. The lids fit so tightly they can be hard to remove sometimes but the silver lining is that this grinder travels well! Very please so far with this product...now let's what the longevity of the grinder is as so far I've only had it about 6 months.

A beautiful device will decorate your kitchen. Works great. I can't say anything about durability yet.

Finally found a salt and pepper shaker that is easy to refill. The only complaint I have is the lids on each end are SUPER hard to get off. I usually have to use a knife or scissors to pop them off.

This one is a good bit smaller than my last one. But I'm ok with that. I'll just have to fill it more often, which isn't that often, to be honest.

I like having a single shaker and overall it works as intended. But I will say it feels a little cheap and the covers are hard to get off. I am hoping they loosen up over time, but they should have a bigger lip on them to make them easier to remove.
