Calming to watch
My wife has had a lava lamp for years but they do lose colour and effectiveness after a few years so she was keen to replace. It is a good solid lamp and attractive even before it is turned on. The wax took a few hours to melt when it was initially turned on, but kept at room temperature it now takes 1 to 2 hours. We turn it on an hour or so before we need it. Very calming to watch and my wife uses it in her meditation time. Good value.

The look
Honestly it just doesn’t work good I got a more expensive one for this and I wanted one changed the colour and it just doesn’t separate into balls. It stays as one big club.

The size is good for a desk or shelf, and the rainbow liquid motion creates a calming and colourful effect, which is really relaxing to watch. The retro astro design adds a nice touch of nostalgia and makes it a cool decoration. However, the liquid motion can be a bit slow at times, but it’s still enjoyable to watch.

Lovely Lava Lamp
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful lamp! I love the colour and find it very relaxing. It takes a bit of time to warm up and start moving but I have it on all day in my office. I think it would make a nice gift and is a nice sensory input. It can get hot so best to be out of reach of young children.
