Natural Looking Tan For Pale Skin
I am a very (very) pale person and don’t need a really dark tan, but wanted something to avert the blinding whiteness of my legs, etc. I used this mousse with a mitt for my body and a kabuki brush to spread it on my face, hands and feet. Left it on for an hour and rinsed. I love the results! Looks extremely natural, no orange. *Tip: I live in a hot, humid climate and fake tan can sometimes feel sticky or warm when I am letting it develop. I use a spray deodorant/total body deodorant on my body and it helps immensely! I know it sounds weird. I’m on day 4 and it still looks good-not patchy yet but lighter . Would definitely recommend and will reorder.

One of my favorites!
I’m really impressed with this self tan! It goes on smoothly, blends easily, and gives a natural-looking glow without any orange tones. The color developed evenly and lasted several days, and the scent wasn’t overpowering like some other self tanners. It’s perfect for getting a sun-kissed look without the sun damage. Definitely one I’ll keep using! ✨🌞

Favorite tanner
My favorite self tan! Great price range and it goes on easy and does not turn orange!

Good, but not perfect! Stretch marks warning!
One of the better self tanners I've used, but still does not compete with getting a professionally airbrush tan. PROS: - guide color develops quickly and makes it easy to get an even application. The purple undertones will make it look hilariously gray as it develops and is the definition of "trust the process." - resulting tan is natural, not overly dark. I gave myself tan lines (see picture) for contrast. This is after one application and I waited 3 hours to wash it off. - it is definitely less orange than other self tanners, though i still wish it was a little cooler toned. It still pulls kinda warm compared to my natural tan. I have neutral-cool undertones. NEUTRAL: - like other self tanners, you have to exfoliate thoroughly and use a mit, and be extremely careful on feet, ankles, hands, and wrists to avoid streaks. The foam definitely makes it easier to get a smooth application vs cream/lotion/tanning water, but streaks are still very possible. It is much less streaky than when I've used Bondi Sands lotions but more streaky than Tanology Tanning Water. - the guide color stains, so you have to be prepared to basically sit on a towel naked and touch nothing for a few hours. This is no worse than any other fake tan that uses a guide color. CONS: - it does NOT adhere to stretch marks (see picture) and almost looks a little muddy on the textured skin near my stretch marks. That being said, I have not found a single DIY self tanner that does actually stick to the scarred skin. The only tans that cover my stretch marks are $$$ pro airbrushing, so this was expected. But just beware if you want to mask stretch marks this almost makes them more visible and looks kinda weird on the skin around the marks. - the self tanner smell lasts 24+ hours even after the initial shower. Worse than other self tanners. - seems to fade quicker than other tans. My first application really was completely gone in about 5 days, whereas tanology products and pro spray tans tends to last a good 8-10 days for me. Overall, yes, I'm going to use the rest of the bottle and stick it out, but i probably won't buy it again. The color is less orange than Tanology and the application is more even than Bondi Sands, but none of them have really won me over yet. I'll keep hunting for a perfect DIY tan and just keep getting the expensive airbrush for special occasions.

Nice color, still has dha, but less odor.
Update: I'm dropping my 5 star score to three stars because upon receiving my 3rd order of this product it was quite different from the first two...I'm not sure if it had been on the shelf too long and gotten stale ( a common Amazon issue with LOTION type products), or if I just got a bad batch. The deep violet color was nonexistent...instead it had a putrid greenish -yellow undertone and it left me very spotty, not nearly as dark and I had to apply more layers. Application was different too, not nearly as even as my first two orders were. It didn't actually streak, but it just looked very spotty, not sure how to explain it. I will try one more time, but if it's the same green rather than violet undertone, this product will have lost me as a customer, and I'll update my score accordingly. Original review... First...1 star for Amazon's search engine..I specifically asked for NON-DHA self tan product. I guessci need to read every single product because this product came up in my non-dha search!! ..I hate the smell that develops as the dha bonds to your skin...so I was hoping to find a non dha product. That having been said, I read the comments on this product and decided to try it, still not knowing it had dha in it. I was so disappointed when I got it and saw dha in the ingredients, yes I should have read them before buying, but Amazon, you need to do better! So I tried this stuff and found that yes, it does smell like a dha product after it begins setting, BUT the odor isn't nearly as strong as other dha products. But...the COLOR!!! I love it! It is much less "orangey" and with multiple coats it is a nice, dark color. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my "tan." I use a LARGE blush brush to apply the product and I blend, blend, blend..I blend additional coats over all areas to avoid streaks. And with multiple coats you do get a nice , dark skin tone. Probably the best product I've used without having to sell my jewelry to afford it. I'd still like to find a non dha product, but I can stand the smell of this tanner without getting nauseous, so I'm here to order my 2nd bottle.

Perfect!!
LOVE THIS. No smell quick drying and easy application using disposable gloves! Doesn’t transfer, just exactly what I wanted!! Be sure to rub in thoroughly to avoid streaks — otherwise it’s perfect!

I'll never use another self tanner!
Buckle up, it's a long review lol Omg! I can't rave enough about this! Most self tanner have that disgusting green tint to them, causing me to look sickly. When you already have an olive undertone, adding more green is just not it. I heard about tanners using purple, but dropping $30+ on something I've ever used before, wasn't happening. I did a quick Google search and came across Love At First Tan. I admit, it was a little confusing trying to go thru the reviews and products because there are a bunch of different options in the drop down menu. A lot of reviews were negative, but I noticed, they were only negative on the other options. For $10, I was scared. Was this going to make me look orange? Was i going to look sickly? Wow. All I can say is WOW. I usually apply self tanner with rubber gloves. I've tried clear formulas, but I prefer this due to its colored base. The second it touches your skin, you can tell you're not going to be orange. The purple base is a godsend! *chefs kiss* I put a small amount of lotion on my elbows, knees, feet, and back of my ankles. Just a little buffer so that the tanner doesnt turn those areas too dark. With the rubber gloves, i start on my shins and calves, working my way up. Just an even coat. I grabbed a cheap tanning applicator brush and I use that to buff out behind my knees and around the front of my knees. I use the same brush for inner and outer elbows. Also for on the tops of my feet. Same for the face. If you really want that maximum color in less time, after it's dried down, go ahead and put another layer on. I stand in front of a fan, make sure it's dried, put on black clothing and go to bed. It can stain, but if I'm in pants, its not anything serious. (I feel like this is basic knowledge when it comes to self tanners) I simply wash it off in the morning and feel 100 times better with my freshly bronzed skin with no tan lines. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself! For $10, you can't go wrong. I've used it as a base coat before summer, and in between when it's too hot to lay out
