You have an emulator? Look no further!!
If youโre looking for something small and easy to use different controllers on your systems, look no further. I have an emulator on Xbox dev mode on my Xbox series x. I bought a few different controllers to use. I use my n64 controllers the most with this adapter. It truly brings you into the world of playing the n64 or GameCube or whatever you have. I prefer using the actual controllers over an Xbox controller. Itโs small and easy to take anywhere. This uses so many different types of controllers. Iโm pretty sure almost any controller works with this.

Great product for tons of arcade sticks.
This item is great, works with all my fight sticks. I was able to use a mortal kombat tournament stick, ps3 version with the wingman xb3 on the Xbox series x. Also with the right adapters I was able to use a x arcade joystick as well. There was no slowdown when connecting it through the usb port of the wingman xb3. Also I didnโt need to update nothing, it worked right out of the box with my fight sticks. For the price, itโs worth it, instead of spending like 150 dollars for a dedicated fight stick for the Xbox series x, just get this. Especially if you already own a ps3 mortal kombat tournament stick, x arcade joystick, or the original may flash arcade stick, then thatโs pure black colored, not the f series of sticks.

Great compatability
It works exactly as you think, it makes all the controllers you have work in Xbox. It adds support to consoles that should have had from the start

WANTED to love it; too many issues like Phantom Inputs (XB3 version for Series X)
I wanted to like this. I have the Wingman PS2 converters that work practically flawlessly. I was incredibly excited to learn that there was a version for Xbox Series, so that I could use some of my PC Pro-style controllers, which are loads cheaper than natively-supported Pro-style controllers. Unfortunately, there were a number of problems. Out of the box, it just would not connect. I figured it just needed a firmware update. Thus began the 2nd major problem. The current official firmware updater tool is a web app through the Brook website, and lists around 10 different firmware options, MOST of which are BETA builds. Sometimes, BETAs are nearly feature-complete; these are all over the place. I tried several (some BETAs, some stable), none of which worked. Controller would read as "connected," but no inputs would register on Series X. I looked on Reddit and found what appeared to be an older stable build, running through an EXE on Windows. That SEEMED to work, at first--and then the phantom inputs began. Without touching anything at all, the cursor on my Xbox would just start moving around--up, down, left, right, all over the place--and then the A button would start selecting things. I was going to try it out in Halo MCC, to see how the thumb sticks responded, but the typical nonsense "sign-in" prompt couldn't even complete its usual process because of all the phantom inputs. At this point, I'm returning it and just buying an OEM controller. I already have an Elite 2, so I really just wanted to have the option to use non-standard controllers for friends (as well as try out some of my PC controllers), but if you are thinking that this will "just work," you might be disappointed. I have seen others say that they got it to work, and I hope that is true; however, compared to their PS2 product (which really does "just work" with PS3 DS3 controllers after ONE firmware update), this was a big letdown for me. If you're looking for a non-Elite, WIRELESS pro-style controller to save a bit of money, there is still 1 8Bitdo variant (I think it's the "Rare anniversary model") and a few Gamesir variants that seem to do it for about $80-90. Considering that the Brook XB3 is about $60, you'd still be saving compared to the Elite series, while also ensuring proper compatibility without excess tinkering. I enjoy tinkering on PC, but when it comes to console, one of the main draws is supposed to be the streamlined, "it just works" experience, and this ain't it. I hope that Brook is able to fix this in the future, but for now, this is a hard return from me.

Quirky but great once connected!
It works when it connects. Often times it takes multiple times to connects, like 8-15 times after you connect it, it's mostly great! Only other complaints is the mapping of the screenshot button and touch pad they are reversed from xbox to Playstation. Again actual gameplay is awesome! If you like using the Playstation controller vs Xbox controller it's definitely worth, lag time is practically nonexistent with this dongle.

This thing is perfect
Guys, this is it. You can finally playing on Xbox without using the clunky Xbox controller! Took me like 3 seconds to sync my PS5 controller up and it works seamlessly. If there is a lag, I donโt notice it at all, and I play LAN in online shooters for the most part. 5/5 recommend

PlayStation layout is good on Xbox controller.
The connection for PlayStation controllers works Soo well to get it on my Xbox One. It was simple to connect while testing/messing around with it. For this long, Iโm glad I got the chance to have it so I donโt have to use my Xbox controller layout often.

Works good, but not great. Used with Gamesir G7 pro.
Just tested on the Gamesir G7 pro. Without any knowledge of how to connect this controller to my Xbox it probably wouldnโt have worked. I found a YouTube channel where the creator actually used this controller with the XB3 wingman. So after trying it myself I was able to get it to work. Next issue is I have no audio for my headset to play multiplayer games. When I turn off my Xbox and back on, I have to connect every time using the process from YouTube. So Iโm not 100% sure if itโs worth the trouble to use this every time I wanna play my Xbox when I have other controllers with less issues. I didnโt notice and lag with my G7 pro in conjunction with the wingman. So Iโm kinda hit and miss with this converter. It works, I can use non Xbox licensed controllers, but the issue with my headphones and having to manually reconnect every time I want to use my controller is super tedious and tiresome. One good thing is I actually can use my settings I programmed from my PC gamesir app on my Xbox. Also you canโt use the Xbox gamesir app with the wingman. App shows that the controller is not recognized. So this isnโt a full on hater review, more like a use at your own risk PSA since Iโm sure anyone buying this is trying to use non Xbox specific controllers. Otherwise the wingman works, but just not perfectly.
