Fits and works perfectly. The only dislike was the wrist pin for the piston didn’t come with the bearing

I recieved the wrong piston and didn't realize it until I inserted it into the cylinder.Returned it thru UPS and recieved the correct one very quick.Simple mistake, just wish I would have checked part number before assembling the motor.

I bought a blown ms291, and low and behold no aftermarket support aside from the piston/rings. Emory clothed and honed the oem cylinder. Replaced the scored piston with this one from Lil Red Barn, instant start. Saw runs well.

The piston seems to be every bit as good as the OEM piston plus the piston pin clips can be removed should it ever be necessary. Superior to the OEM part in this respect. This part saved me hundreds that the Stihl dealer wanted to repair it. Do not hesitate to use this product.
