Love These
I wear an 11 or 11 1/2, and my feet are a tad on the wide side. I tried another set of similar boots (my size and a size larger) and could not even get them on. These go on and off relatively easily; the grab handles are great. The zipper is a little fussy, but it zips strongly and is snug around my admittedly large calves. There's a good bit of room around my ankles, and if I had one complaint it'd be how the boot rubs my ankles while walking. I think it's gotten better as I've worn them hunting/hiking a few times.I wore wool socks, and my feet stayed warm and dry, even stepping through a shallow creek and a good bit of mud. They feel super sturdy, and I have confidence that they could repel a snake bite well. Thankfully haven't tested that out yet. I feel like I'm wearing armor. To be honest, I kind of would like to wear these all the time, but they don't go with everything. LOL

Great !!!
Very satisfied with these boots so far. Comfortable, correct fit, easy on/off. Zippers are a little stiff, but when I use the great handles on the top of the boots, it works as desired. Love the rubber toes and leather sections of the boots. Height of the boots is truly 17" and perfect for top rattlesnake protection. No negatives after 2 weeks of daily use. Would definitely recommend.

Very solid snake boot.
Wore these boots on a gator/hog hunt in Florida. Water was everywhere along with snakes and everything else. The boots performed well and I did not have wet feet or any worries about getting bit by a snake. The fit true to size. I wear a 13D and ordered a 13. I had zero issues. They are a little hot on my calves but the boots are like wearing tanks.

Great boots, do the job
These are great durable boots, have worn them for a couple of months now before I wrote this review, had them in mud, rain, snow, just about everything, and they’ve held up great, zipper is stiff at first but breaks in well, they are snake proof and from what I’ve noticed waterproof as well, the only complaint I would have is that I walk on a lot of hillside for hours at a time, and they do start to rub on your ankles after awhile, but other then that great boots and I’m pleased with them

Reeordering, 1st pair lasted 3 1/2 years
I purchased these over three years ago (according to Amazon - different brand name, identical boot) and wore them while hiking out in the desert. Not intentionally, they have become my "hiking boots", I'd estimate my total time wearing them to be over 600 hours before the seam failed at the heel (contrasted to another brand of snake boot I had that failed in the same place after only 12 hours of wear)I like that they are: Quite comfortable, I wore these for periods of 4 - 12 hours at a time 3 - 5 times a week throughout the years. Relatively lightweight. Easy to put on and take off. Nice looking, I've worn these while travelling (they don't pack well) and received more than one comment/compliment.Critiques: Can get hot, take some consideration to the pants and socks you wear with them. Welts don't seem to last more than a few months before some separation (won't be waterproof then but didn't affect my wear in the desert). Zipper started getting sticky on one boot after less than a year but putting my finger under the zipper while zipping did the trick - the last few months, both boots required the finger under technique.Reordering, I'm hoping this pair will last another 3+ years/600+ hours

Wasted $200
After only three times wearing these boots the zipper hung up and absolutely would not move. Finally I had to cut my foot out of the boot. Needless to say the boot is ruined. I have reached out to the manufacturer of this boot for a fair resolution. I will update this post if and when I hear back from the manufacturer.DissatisfiedWell, as I expected, I have had no one reach out to me from the manufacturer so my last post will be negative. I cannot tell anyone to avoid doing business with this company however, I can tell anyone doing business with this company to expect no standing behind their products. They will not make right a product that fails in its performance. I will never do business with this company again. I expect more from Amazon. Amazon should not allow companies like these to be represented to sell products on their platform.

Comfortable boots, no issues with the zipper
I have had these boots for just one week, but after several hikes I find them very comfortable and well built. A number of reviewers have mentioned cheap flimsy zippers. Mine are quite solid and easy to use. Perhaps that was a past problem that is now corrected.
