A pretty hefty cooler with a small footprint.
I had originally purchased 13503 8000 series cooler for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It did fit the vehicle, barely, the 13503's size caused interference between the hoses and the vehicle body leading to a significant leak. I replaced it with this 13611 9000 series and found this to be the better choice. The 13611's smaller dimensions made installation cleaner and much easier. Installation took a few hours as I had to custom fabricate all new mounting brackets from scratch and custom bend 3/8 hard line to get from the cooler to the engine side of the radiator, never mount anything directly to a condenser or radiator. This unit has 1/2 in. NPT connections, which gives you more flexibility on how to adapt it to your vehicle. I did not use any hardware from the kit, instead, I sourced some 3/8 double flare fittings and hard line. Overall, I am pleased with the quality construction of Derales' coolers. The install was much better than the larger 13503's and, with the hard line, looks factory.

ALUMINUM fittings !
The cooler itself is a GREAT product but they no longer issue brass fittings for the hose connector as pictured. They are aluminum! I purchased some brass units as thats all I ever used ..., I,m leary of aluminum with the vibration in my application.

Threads improperly cut. Unusable.
Threads cut poorly. Took massive effort of slowly rotating one insert slightly further each time before it would seat. The second one would not fit.No, I didn't cross thread it. Yes I was using their supplied adapters.
