Fantastic
I rated this book 5* due to the incredible plot and the twists and turns this book includes. Also, for the characters and their character developments.. but mostly because of Damon Torrance himself... he's my favourite, alright... Damon is definitely a more complicated character than were first lead to believe he does everything for a reason, and it all serves a purpose one way or another. He's definitely very protective, and towards the last part of the book, it's definitely something beautiful to read, even if it isn't to begin with. He's definitely been through way too much, and he's a relatable character for me in some aspects of what he's been through. It's interesting to see how it's all shaped him from his attitude to the way he carries himself, but the character development, oh my... I wasn't expecting it, but I am living for Damon to be his best version. Winter is a character who definitely annoyed me to begin with, but she was interesting to read about, with the way she sees everything without the ability to see it. Her character development was good to read, too. She's definitely become a stronger, more confident character. Will is also becoming more and more interesting due to his relationship with Damon and how he's trying to deal with the trauma left over from the first book. He's definitely out of his shell more with Damon. They both push each other. I'd recommend this book (and series) to anyone who isn't put off by the triggers as this book definitely covers more darker topics, more so than the previous book. However, the sweet parts of this book where Damon is himself, definitely make up for it... he's a sweetie, really.

Definitely did not expect
Honestly I was dreading reading this story after Damon in the last two stories but I believed he should have his story told. I am so glad I read it in the end. The book brings in moments that make sense as you continue to read but shocks you. I didn't think some of their friendships had stuff happen like it did that shocked me. I am very interested in Will's story next.

Kill Switch
I have loved every book in this series so far, and this one is no different. I was pulled back into the life of the Horsemen right away. Damon has been a favourite of mine since Corrupt. I knew there was more to him, and we get to see that in this book. He is still just as calculating, evil, and downright nasty, when he has to be (and sometimes when he doesn't). However, in this book we get to find out more about the reasons why he is the way he is. Winter hates Damon, with a passion. She thinks he is responsible for most of the bad things that have happened to her and her family. Damon maintains his hard exterior, while slowly chipping away at Winter. He tries to show her that everything is not always as it seems. This is when we start to see the real Damon. At the end of every book in this series so far, I have been left desperate for the next book. This one is no different. However, these books are worth the wait. The story is well thought out. The suspense has you turning pages long into the night. The character development is perfect. Although this story is focused on Winter and Damon, the rest of the gang all make a significant contribution. Along with all the suspense, there are a few twists and turns to add to it. At the end of every book in this series, I have been left desperate for the next one to be released. This one is no different. However, the books are always worth the wait. Each storyline is well thought out and the suspense always has me turning the pages well into the night. I can't wait to see what Penelope Douglas has in store for Will.

I LOVE Damon
All of the stars! Kill switch is Book 3 in the devil’s night series. Corrupt and hideaway need to be read before hand or you will be lost. What can I say about this book. It was outstanding. If you’ve read the other two books in the series you will know all about Damon Torrance and trust me I didn’t want to like him, I really didn’t. He’s done some messed up things but some how Penelope Douglas has made me fall deeply in love with Damon. He made me shout at my kindle, cry for him, want to hold him close and tell him everything will be ok. He made me roll my eyes, call him a names and smile so hard I didn’t know if I was coming or going. Penelope’s writing was exquisite, her story telling pulling you into the moments and making you feel like you are a part of everything. Winter, my sweet winter. She was everything. She fits in so well with the other girls and I love that she has a backbone, so strong! I have been waiting and anticipating this book for a long time and I really didn’t believe that it could live up to the other two as I knew there was no way that Penelope Douglas could make me like Damon. How could she make me understand him and feel him. I was so wrong. She did and she did it so well I can feel him in my bones. I thought i knew where this story was going to go...l I had no clue. I thought i could guess the twists.... I didn’t have any idea. I’m glad I read this book slowly and savoured it because I really enjoyed it. I took in all of the words and felt them, holding them close to me. Michael used to be my favourite horsemen, Damon has taken over and massively surpassed him. This book will tear you limb from limb, get your pulse racing, bring tears to your eyes and consume you. I couldn’t have loved this book more if i had tried. Damon is the best kind of anti hero. I couldn’t prepare myself for the emotions that this book put me through but I was worth every damn thing. I can’t wait for Will’s book, I already know it’s going to be EPIC. Well done Penelope Douglas, I bow down to you. Read the book, read the series and fall in love. You won’t regret a thing.

I really didn't think I was going to like this one coz I wasn't that keen on Damon from the first two books but the more I got to know him and his story, the more I liked him. He wasn't gona be my favourite but I love him and Winter! I loved the scene in the Catacombs. HOT HOT HOT!

A must read
Penelope is seriously one of my favourite authors. This whole series is incredible. I love it with my whole being and wish I could experience it for the first time again! I love all the characters and their uniqueness. I love how the books are written with the present day and flashing back to their younger selves. It adds more suspense to the books because you don’t have any idea what happened in the past to make the present day as it is until nearly the end of the books. The way the four books link together and each focus on one of the men in the group whilst we still see what is going on with the other three keeps you intrigued to reading more so you can find out more and more about the characters. The spice in the books is amazing also. Some of the best I have read. It made me blush at one stage and it took me about an hour to read one passage because I couldn’t read it, it was that hot! Definitely a worthy read!

I’m stronger now,” I whispered. “I won’t let you fall.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5 stars) I’ll admit, I was apprehensive going into Kill Switch because Damon had always been the villain in my eyes from the previous two books. But I couldn’t have been more wrong—his and Winter’s story has completely surpassed the others and now sits firmly at the top of the pile for me. The secrecy, the layers of storytelling, the raw pain, and the way it was all explored and portrayed kept me hooked from start to finish. Damon’s redemption arc was powerful, believable, and left me with a whole new love for his character. Winter was equally captivating, and together their journey was intense and unforgettable. This book has cemented itself as my favorite so far in the series, and I cannot wait to dive into Will’s installment to see what happens next.
