I take this along side with a lot of other supplements for my stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, I feel it is important in my combined treatment plan with medication and natural supplements to take this. I am a mother of a 4and 6 year od active boys and juicing everyday is hard to find time so this is a great help! I strongly believe I would be worse off not taking this.

I purchased this supplement for my husband to use after he completed his chemo therapy treatments. I’ve noticed a big increase in his ability to fight off infections. He will be using this for quite a while until his immune system recovers.

I've been treated for stage iv metastatic cancer for about 3 years and 5 months. I've tried various supplements and foods that "may" have some positive impact on decreasing the negative effects of both cancer and cancer treatments. In my opinion, and in my experience, modifying my diet and including foods that include nutrients that have shown some evidence, in the limited studies that have been done, of slowing cancer growth, increasing energy, decreasing chemo symptoms has helped me. Not a cure but I think it's helped quality of life.One problem with the focus on cancer and nutrition is there are no absolutes and no actual proof of what works for a particular type of cancer. Another problem is that people want to find that "one" thing that works and then focus on a single vitamin, mineral, food group, etc. and when it doesn't seem to work will jump from one thing to another like a ball in a pinball machine. Nutritionists advise people eat a variety of foods. While good advice, it is too general. There are so many foods, spices, and herbs that provide a huge variety of nutrients. Knowing which of those to eat, and in what amount, to provide cancer support for the specific cancer and situation a patient is in, is an impossible task.Sometime in the future I think the answer will be tailored foods, drugs, and treatments targeting the individual. But the science isn't anywhere close to that yet. Even with the advance in chemo drugs and treatments they don't work for everyone and it's not an exact science.While supplements like Onco-V aren't a cure they, I believe, are going in the right direction in providing supplemental support. Rather than focusing on a single nutrient they are including a variety of nutrients that have shown, through incidental evidence if not through exhaustive proof, to provide some support during cancer treatment. Like all supplements and cancer treatments, individual results vary.If it was a perfect fit for everyone I'd give it a 5 but since that is not possible the highest I could go for any supplement would be a 3. I have no way of judging purity of product, or if it contains the right balance of each ingredient, but that is true for every supplement. I think the price is high and would have deducted a star. However, since it provides nutrients from several food categories that I don't traditionally purchase on a regular basis, I feel that I'm substituting paying for this supplement instead of buying certain foods more often or buying a variety of supplements.I've been using this supplement for a couple of weeks but I also take other supplements as well as medications, so I can't say with any assurance that this has made me feel better.
