This is more a cream than a thick salve, it arrives in a lovely box with a nice jar inside which has a security lid. The cream is very cooling melts instantly into my skin and doesn’t leave a sticky greasy residue.There is a faint smell off it, to my nose it smells slightly medicinal, but the ingredients which are listed are wild yam, cabbage, chaste berry, red clover, cramp bark, dandelion route, castor oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, Shea butter, vitamin E, and lavender essential oil, so my conclusion is the smell must come from the lavender essential oil.The best before date is written on the bottom of the box along with the manufacture date and the lot number. The jar of salve I received expires in 2027.

It has Smooth creamy texture. Smell is sweet but not overpowering. Keeps skin moisturized. Haven’t used long enough to see any difference with hormonal balance. But I will keep using because I do like the product. Definitely recommend trying it for yourself.

I really think this is from china and so, it says organic online, but not on the product itself. It smells nice and it may actually be simple ingredients...I hope.

This yam cream is thicker than I was expecting, though it's still very creamy. And a little goes a long way. It says to use a dime sized amount both morning and evening. Using roughly that amount, it pretty much covered my entire arm before I no longer needed to rub it in. Though it starts feeling watery after a moment, then dries quickly.I've only been using this brand a couple days. For the last several years I've been using another brand of yam cream, I've actually tried quite a few. In comparison, this smells really nice and light. Just a clean, somewhat floral and herbaceous scent. There is no added fragrance according to the jar. So it's just the scent of the ingredients. I can say that I slept well last night, not being woken up sweating like I was in a sauna. It's also given me no allergic reactions so far and I do have very sensitive skin. For now, I'm just using once a day and will increase if I feel the need.So far so good and I'm happy with it.Peace and stable hormones

The media could not be loaded.  I have been using this cream for a couple of weeks now and really like it. The cream is a very nice moisturizing cream with a mild, clean herbal scent. The texture holds its shape well in the jar but then just seems to melt into the skin when applied, which feels lovely and luxurious. I have included a video and photos so you can see the texture. I purchased this cream while recovering from broken bones and getting hot and cold spells. I was also feeling more dryness downstairs, which has also improved. I was not sure if these things were related to inflammation from my injury, medications I was taking, or perimenopausal symptoms. These various symptoms have now resolved as my bones have healed and I am not sure if the cream has anything to do with it or not. I like the cream and am feeling better so will keep using. I even feel like I am sleeping better, but this may again be related to less pain from injury. Or maybe the cream is a factor? In any case, it is a very nice cream and doesn’t seem to hurt anything. I am using on my abdomen mostly, and sometimes thighs. If I stop using and notice a negative change I will report back, but so far so good!

I did some research:Wild yam was historically used by Native Americans for a variety of ailments, and clinical trials suggest it can have a "stabilizing effect on hormone fluctuations which helps ease symptoms related to hormonal imbalance, such as menopause".The cream itself is very nice: little or no scent, easy to spread on your skin, takes very little. They recommend using a dime-size amount twice daily. That means this jar should last a long while.No raw chemicals in the list of ingredients - impressive, just a natural organic formulation.Where has this been all my life? LOL I'll be back in a month or so to report my responses to using this cream.Pricing is reasonable considering it takes so little every day to be effective, according to their directions.They do recommend you do a patch test before you begin using it regularly.
