This is not a cheap product, especially for a camping light. However, the built quality is good, most of the tripods are aluminum and operate smoothly. Here are some plus and minus I have noticed.Plus:+ Tallest extended height in this price range+ Solid tripods and are easy to operate, legs all have stake points+ Sufficiently bright for camping+ The light unit can be detached from the base and continue to function as a hanging flood light or a powerful flashlight+ The whole unit size is comparable to a 6D maglite, just a bit shorter and much lighter, can function as a “club” in a pinch+ The tripods have standard 1/4” screw that other accessories can attach to+ Due to its small size, the light can also become a handy work light in small spacesMinus:- The flood light can’t function while charging, flash light can be used but only at the lowest setting.- Due to the light unit size, it only offers 3000mah battery which is low for its price range- The remote can only control the flood light, it can’t turn on or switch to flashlight, this means if you do want to carry the entire unit clasped as a 6D maglite replacement, you have to turn on the flashlight first by hitting the main switch, which is hidden if the whole unit is clasped. Not a good user experience- Only has “cool white” light, there is no warmer light tone option, which is more desirable for camping.

Use this for dry camping in our 4Runner and so far it seems like a great light. It’s very light weight and really bright. Seems like the battery last a good amount of time. I have not tested howLong it will last, but the battery has out lasted my needs also the remote is a really cool feature along with the fact that you can use it as a flashlight also.

The light is very bright even at the low setting. And the remote comes in really handy. I love that I am able to take it off and use it as a flashlight when necessary. And it holds the charge for a very long time. I am definitely going to purchase another one!

Bought this for after sunset bbq-ing but the possibilities are endless with this setup! I also love it for working on the car and getting good light in all the tight places you come across. Buy one...you won't regret it!

Good feel, sturdy, bright and well constructed product for the price. Brightness is useful. A misleading information is that it shines upto 800lm but it does not stay at 800lm. It automatically deems slowly after a few minutes of turbo brightness of 800lm, and actual brightness at continuous use is at 600lm, which is okay. This is bright enough for open camping site and do a cooking under the light. Bright enough to use alone inside of 10ft x10ft tent. FYI 60w light bulb (typical toilet bulb) is about 800lm, so 600lm is slightly deemer than your filament bulb…

Love its compact and you can use it for light in house when electricity is out. Keeps a good charge also. It’s perfect to use in the house for several different needs. But when electric out it’s great. Lights up a room great. Then you can just store it like regular flashlight and has its own bag and remote controlled also. Awesome light looking at another to put in camper also.
